Retired 2 years ago from the mining industry, worked in the far north (desert country) of South Australia for about 30 years.
Gardening and golf now occupy a big part of my time.

Hi there everyone. I am an Aussie stranded on the African Island of Mauritius. Been here for 2 years now and its not a bad place to live. I work for Starwood Hotels and Resorts. We have some beautiful golf courses here but not a single golf shop which is extremely frustrating as I am trying to upgrade my 11 year old Powerbilt Grand Slams. If anyone is ever thinking about heading over here, I would be more than happy to organise a game of golf (so long as I can play as well) - am also brand new to this forum!!

I'm an assistant golf pro at a public/private course in southern Mass. i'm working through my pga apprenticeship and will hopefully be a club pro in the next year to year and half. i'm at the course about 80 hours (but that includes playing 5 days) a week over 6 days. i have saturdays off so i can play in the local tourneys. lots of work, but it will all be worth it in the end.

I am a commercial photographer who specializes in photographing golf courses. Tough job but somebody has to do it. Actually it's not an easy way to make a living and it's frustrating getting to see a lot of great courses but not having the time to play them, but I must say, I really enjoy the work.

I work for the Veterans Administration after retiring for the US Army. Just started golfing and this will be my 3rd year.

i give endowment management advice to non-profits. not crazy about it, but it gives me the flexibility to play 9 pretty much any evening. not bad i suppose.

Working as a doctor in a small country town... just for 6 months.
Great thing is membership at the local golf course (which I have been told Vijay Singh once played on a few years ago in the yearly Pro comp) is an amazing $150!!
Good time to get back in to golf... seriously this time.
