Do you wear the bobby hat and not allowed to carry a gun? These are serious questions btw. Read the post after it was gone and looked kinda jokey or snarky. I truly am curious on both fronts. ;)

Yep they occasionally make us actually wear the hats and instead of a gun we get a little can of CS spray!! I prefer it this way though. The more police carry guns the more the criminals will...

Hey my name is John, I have just signed up and thought I would introduce myself. I live on the Gold Coast QLD, Australia. I am an app developer. I mainly make games for IOS. This past 5 months I have also been working toward a goal of playing professional golf. I was playing off 27 in February this year and now 5 months later I'm down to 10. I have read so many posts about guys trying to achieve the same thing as me and I think it's fantastic that there are so many more people that love golf as much as I do. I recently started a blog about my ambitious goal of turning pro. If anyone is interesting in having a read and leave some comments feel free to check it out here. http://amateur-to-pro-golfer.weebly.com I'll try to update it as often as I can and would love to see some comments from those of you trying to achieve the same thing. I think having a support network would be helpful. So anyway it's great to be here and I hope I can be of some use. Cheers John

Mmm, not sure I agree but much respect in any case. Cheers.

I'm a sheet lead worker, specialist roofer, this was my job this week.

That's nice work you've done there. I hope you wash your hands real good before picking up your sandwich though.

Yours in earnest, Jason.

    • Day 7 - Mirror work, trying to hit that PGA-logo position in my follow through. Mirror really helped, need to film soon.
    • So hit the😝 irons crooked AND play layup golf?? Hahaha.. no thanks. I would rather stay home. 😊
    • First - glad to see these popping up again. Now to the topic at hand - I would rather be option 1.  If I know how far it's going (I mean a yard or two) I can always play to the wider parts of the fairway and/or the green and still do reasonably well.  Now if I could just really hit the "number" that well.
    • Day 2 (10 Mar 25) - Long day of driving to dr appt with son.  Thankfully got in one of my fave putting drills (two ball side by side) - the goal to have both balls come off the putter face equally by having them come off the putter face as close to the same time as possible.  First few rolls - the toe was leading the way as that ball flew off the face.  By the end of the drill both balls were basically equal off the face, rolling to within a couple of inches of each other.  Nice drill of focusing on squaring the face.  BTW - I was using the old Odyssey DF992.
    • Day 161 - 2025-03-10 Got a decent, long session in. Focused mostly on the backswing feels, and moved on toward the end of the four hours (not all hitting balls, I installed a motion sensing light switch in there too, and worked with a student over FaceTime for a bit) on the downswing feel.
