I work in IT for the government in Carlisle, Pa.  It gives me plenty of time to go out and work on my game.

SQL Server DBA \ Programmer for a county office of education. Love that the time change happened and I have a lot of vacation days I can take in 1/2 day increments for Twilight! The discounted tee times, not the movie!

Any Taylor Made Employees on here that can get the TST members discounts??

Hi everyone, I've just joined the forum and thought I would say hello, I'm in the UK and my profession is a soldier in the British Army, I'm currently coming to the end of my career after 25 years and am studying to become a teacher in FE. So hello to you all again;-)

Hey guys, I'm new here. Been lurking around for awhile and thought I'd finally say hi. I'm a self employed insurance agent from central PA who finds every excuse in the book to play golf instead of going to the office! I look forward to hanging around talking golf with those who love the game as much as I do.

I work for a software company helping our customers get the most out of the product.  Part firefighter, cat herder, and teacher of all things having to do with server and network monitoring.

Why do they call golf "golf"?  Because all the other four letter words were taken.

    • Day 619 - 2026-06-13 Light day as I had a player win his second consecutive EDGA Match Play. Got some work in before some lessons, then headed up to watch him get his hardware. https://www.instagram.com/iacas/p/DZi5LyUiSwA/
    • Day 13 (13 Jun 26) - Continued work with 7i, hard foam balls and getting consistent impact - spent half the drill using the ball box as a gate to battle coming over the top , other half with no gate - rather practice the setup and execution without assistance.
    • Despite playing poorly today, I did birdie a hole 12.  A great drive (not distance wise, just stayed where I wanted it to) and then a pretty good 4-wood left me 60 yards to a pin tucked way right over a bunker.  Despite being within the range at which I am allowed to go for the pin, I instead aimed away from the bunker and focused on GIR.  A 27' downhill putt that I estimated at three fingers of break awaited me, which I sank.   I have to admit, this is not where I thought I'd make hole-12-birdie this year.
    • Day 40, June 13.  Played 18 today at a new-to-me course.  It did not go well, largely due to how compact the course was and unfamiliarity.
    • Day 78: played 18. Shot 80. Driving was solid, iron play meh, short game decent, putting okay.
