I am a radiologist with not enough time to play.
My wife took care of the home and took care of 2 kids for 20 years and she now plays 2-3 times a week.

I'm a Professional Golfer but I am in the Home Building business also, that is really what pays the bills most months.

I am a Machinist...I just got back to into playing this summer after 3 years. I am totally bit this time, my wife says I have gone golf crazy!!! I don't know what to do with the snow on the ground in northern NJ now, so I made my first homemade putter head out of aluminum and got a shaft and grip from Golfsmith and it works great on the living room carpet...its a little heavy around 380g but I like it...can't wait to get out there and try it for real...

Hi,
Glad to be a new member of the Forum. I am an engineer in the automotive industry. Finally had some time to get back to the course last year after 5 years off for foot surgery. I'm really starting to enjoy it again and can't wait for the Spring!

Until February I was an institutional derivative salesmen on Wall Street -actually San Francisco for the last 12 years. In February I quit to move to Maine to be close to my wife's family and now I am - almost unemployed. I am working on a renewable energy start-up and my own golf retail product that combines my two favorite things - golfing and drinking while golfing. This is not the proper place to discuss it ( I assume for I am a newbie ) but if you are interested you can email me at bcrowder@golfsbestshot.com

I'm a computer geek... more exactly, I am an OLD IBM mainframe programmer/Analyst consultant... who has also learned how to use these new fangled "little" computers.....

    • Musgrove Mill hole #15 was converted to a par 3 after Hurricane Helene. Today, I had 145 from the tee which is a perfect 9-iron for me. I aimed just right of the hole and pulled it a few feet. Clanked off the stick down into the hole and ricocheted out of the hole 13’ away. Drained the putt for a birdie after repairing the hole which was damaged . Not sure if it would have counted as a HIO, but I was pretty excited!
    • Day 55 - 2024-11-24 Did five levels of Operation 36 on GSPro (different courses). 🙂 Was -4 from 200 yards (32) intentionally laying up on each hole (i.e. not hitting a 5I or something). Shot… 22, 24, 26 from 25, 50, and 100 yards. I forget my 150-yard score, but obviously it was < 36. Putting was odd… (and I did it with the wedge or a 7I or whatever was in my hand).
