Probably didn’t help that Brooksey offered a case of beer to those ousted for heckling Bryson. Shows how low standards have fallen when folks will act like a fool for Michelob Ultra.

As someone mentioned above, the Waste Management tournament has set the standard for boorish behavior.  Throw alcohol into the mix, and you get what we have today.

Here's an honest question though.  Should the tour implement their version of baseball's 7th-inning stretch?  That is no beer after the 7th inning.  And I think football has banned alcohol sales after the 3rd quarter.  How would the tour even implement something like this?  Does it even make sense?

That's different. That's invited, expected, etc.

They already do that.

This isn't only happening on the last two holes of a golf tournament.

dzjc.... I won't even watch the Wasted Management Open.  I haven't for a couple years.  Why should I be entertained, and yes... that is what it supposed to be, "entertainment"... by a bunch of 17 year old drunks desperate to have someone notice them by screaming "in the hole" at every opportunity.  I can also record the tourney and put in mute, see the interesting parts (if there are any) and avoid many/most of the drunks behavior.  Works for me.  Skip over the ads too....

I think fan interaction is good, just not all interaction is good.  Not everything at the WM is bad.  The hard part is defining & enforcing a reasonable line and some people simply do not know/care where the line is.  To me Booing when they miss the green at the WM is fine, getting loud when the player encourages it is fine. Throwing beer cups onto the course, hurling personal insults, etc. is not cool.

FWIW, they are much older than 17 at the Waste Management. They are just acting 17.

    • Those are better. Watch where the shaft points at the top, too. Bit over-rolled there (laid off).
    • First swings at after a 2.5 month forced hiatus. No surgery in the forecast at the moment! Doc said okay to start easing in gently over a few weeks. The effort is barely 30% here but felt solid.  I think my swing changed a few years ago after my right ankle injury (weight shift profile). I wonder if this may bring about another change. I certainly won't pivot on to the knee (left) aggressively any time soon, if ever. Could even be a good thing..heh.
    • I mean, I just assume he mistyped something. 🙂 Promos were on X/Twitter and today I put the promo on IG. The full video is landscape (not good for Instagram) and too big for X (file size), so it's always been on YouTube.
    • Slomo video of me working on the arms raising thing in the backswing. I think this is better, albeit I’m going fairly slowly and then stopping. Too darn cold to go outside and I don’t have room to safely make a full motion indoors, so this will have to do till I can make it to the range.
    • Very concise and to the point.  I can attest; it makes the golf swing easier if you keep that right arm under control.
