Most Birdies in a Round? Post Yours (Poll)

The most in one round ive ever had was 6. I forget what i shot that day, it wasnt under par though. Ive had 5 a couple of times and ive sunk 4 numerous times.

For 18 holes, 4 was the most birdies in a round. I did have 3 in a 9 hole round once, so extrapolate that out......

2 for me. But one time I had a third, but it was counted a 5 on the score card because I had OB'd my first tee shot.

Not quite sure how a bogey qualifies as a birdie, despite your qualification. You may as well say that you hit a 300 yard drive but it only counted as 200 because it only went 200.

I'd call a bogey with OB strokes a great bogey and leave it at that.

The best I've done is 8 in one round, but the best round I had was 6 birdies and 2 eagles.

5 birdies, 1 eagle, and (groan) 1 bogey when I thought it was going in for an easy birdie, but it rolled 3 feet long -- missed the come back putt. Learned a lesson that day.

I have had 8 birdies and 1 eagle in a round, had a trip and shot 65. Have had 9 several times. The round I will always remember.....3 eagles and 2 birdies to shoot EVEN!!!!!!!!!! Had 8 bogies and 5 pars. I sure can mess up a great round.

Mine best is 5 birdies in a round of 74. I started out poorly on the first 6 holes, then put everything together on the last 12. I had another round where I had 1 birdie on the back 9 (started on the back), then birdied the first 3 in a row on the front, and then got rained out!!!

Had 5 birdies my last time out. went bogey bogey double to finish. 2 par 5s. Had 72 in my sights and blew it. Still my second best round ever - 76. Best ball striking day I can ever remember.

Yesterday I had 6 birdies and an eagle...and a double and three bogey's :( I think I have had more, but that's the most I have had recently.

WOW...I thought my 3 in a row in a round was good, but after reading some of these posts I am almost ashamed to mention it.

2 a couple of times - most recently on my 50th birthday, on a course I had never played, and because I had started off slicing my driver I left it in the bag for the remainder of the round. Low score for this year so far. You'd think that tells me something :)

Got my first Birdie this past Memorial weekend. I sunk a 27 yard pitch shot on a 350 yd. par 4, hitting uphill... my eyes were level with the green so all I could see was the top half of the ball rolling... then it dropped. I couldn't believe it! So glad my wife was there watching. At least I had one witness.

I had 4 yesterday, including 17 and 18. I also had a stretch of 4 bogeys in 5 holes, but even par is still my career low round.
