Hi all

I just bought a used SIM Max.  Haven't had it out yet but it lies strangely behind the ball compared to past drivers.

Maybe it's completely normal and something I have to get used to.

The club head seems to be way open if I just balance the grip on a finger.  This is how the club naturally lies.  Is it correct?  If so, I can no longer grip the club after address as it would need need skewing in my hand to be held square.  What do you guys think?  Normal for a SIM of have I bought a dud (again haha.)  Maybe it is normal and is caused by the off centre fin construction underneath?158033186_SIMHeadAngle.thumb.jpg.3e7144144aa06c51e16a45e4c53fe618.jpg20211212_155251.thumb.jpg.1a1563f5ef7caf8594a26f3c7e58dd71.jpg

Looks like the head is twisted a bit.

Who cares? You don't grip the club by resting it on a finger tip.

Sure, it just seems weird to me.  If this is normal and the club isn't damaged then fine I can live with it.  Just wanted to ask other SIM users so I could send straight back if the alignment's out

It's because of the big weirdo fin on the bottom.

Go to any sporting goods or golf store that still has the SIM's in stock and lay them on a hard surface; They will all sit like that. Taylormade (sort of) corrected that with the SIM 2.

I think the bigger problem is your golf shoes shown in the second picture. Those are going to make it hard to hit your best drives.

I'm pretty sure Gary McCord already is.

Yeah...and are going to cause a lot of damage on the course.

Turned out it was a fake.  Once I had a real one in my hands, I spotted a load of differences including the club face angle at address.  The real one sits nice and square
