I enjoy just about every beer I've ever tried, but my go-to favorite remains the champagne of bottle beers, Miller High Life.

I am from Canada and we are supposed to have great beers.

However.  What I find funny is that when I visit a beer store in the U.S. the Americans are picking up Canadian Beers and the Canadians are picking up U.S. beers.

I like a dark ale like Killians Red or whatever microbrew happens to be on tap in the U.S. They are all good.  Some are better than others.

In Canada I prefer Alexander Keith Dark if it's on tap.

In bottles.  It's Budweiser all the way for price and taste.

It's just like wines.  It's they mystique that gives it the taste.

Stone Ruination I.P.A.

So called because of the "ruinous" effect on your palate! This massive hop monster has a wonderfully delicious and intensely bitter flavor on a refreshing malt base. One taste and you can easily see why we call this brew "a liquid poem to the glory of the hop!" Those who seek, crave and rejoice in beers with big, bold, bitter character will find true nirvana in Stone Ruination IPA!

Brooklyn Lager and Brooklyn Summer MMMmmmmmmmmm

Otherwise Sam Adams Boston Lager or Budweiser (ive been drinking that since I was a teenager)

Busch Light!  (Seriously)

Obviously not a real connoisseur.  I do like an occasional wheat or white beer - like Blue Moon or wheat brews.

Never really had a favorite. It's more of what I feel like drinking when I'm in the beer aisle at the grocery store.

Among some of the beers I chose, Blue Moon, Corona, Sam Adams or Bud Light Lime.

I have a friend that worked for BevMo and he got me some really good Affligem Trippel - their Christmas brew is also very good!

Best Regards,
Ryan

Happy confluence of circumstances. We just moved into a new house. Which has a proper bar, with a proper bar fridge. And it was my birthday. So my wife said: "Oh go on and stock it properly!". The beers are from one of the few decent local microbreweries -- http://www.gabrielcollective.com/craft.html .

Anyway, I'm good for a bit.

    • Depends in part on what lie the greens crew left me. If it's first cut of rough or fairway and clear shot to cup, it's an 8i chip and run. If it's shaggy, or I have to go over ridge or bunker, it's a cut shot with a 58* LW.
    • Throw a stick down in almost every range session.
    • Day 358: Played 18. Incredible psycho scorecard but finished +5. Also completed the birdie challenge. And the no 6s challenge, for that matter. Was not my best ball striking or driving round, but was able to hit enough good shots to make a few birdies and scrape it around.
    • Birdied 10 and 17 today to complete the (away) challenge! Both of the birdies were tap in birdies on par 5s (hit the green in 2 and was in the fringe pin high in 2), but I was a little nervous over both putts. I wasn't taking a gimme to finish the challenge, dammit.  Also, 17 was a hole I missed last year, so it was one I was a little worried about. Now I guess I need to make an eagle or two or get to -19 or lower.
    • Ok, so my alignment got messed up. I was aiming way right. Caught myself on a short par 3. I hit a good full 52, and the ball went way right.  Too many shots still going drawing too much for what I like to see.  Putting went to crap for some reason. I went back to making a putting stroke. I think mostly for tempo. Short game was meh, but worked on it a bit afterwards. Got it back. Too long of a backswing.  Just a mix of good, bad, and ugly.  Back to the range tomorrow for some work.
