What did you buy on your last trip to the golf store?

Nothing.... I drove about 40 miles one way to buy some re-gripping supplies at Golfsmith (1st time there) only to get there and be told that "the stores don't carry everything that's in the catalog". I told her that she should put that disclaimer on the website.

The store was just about the same as going to Dick's Sporting Goods five miles from my house.

Drove back home, got on the computer to The Golf Works and ordered 6 New Decade Multi Compund grips (already had 13), 2 quarts of Brampton HF-100, 50 grip strips, and a solvent catch pan.

Prior to that I decked out my yellow Clic Gear push cart with color matched wheels, installed the hand hold that goes in the umbrella mount, new hand grips and a second water bottle holder.

And a friend of mine got me a towel from that Vegas pawn shop that's on Pawn Stars..... LOL

Nothing that will help me play any better but, the exercise keeps the cholesterol down.. :loco:

In my Bag Boy XLT-15 bag:
Cobra 10.5* Speed Pro S driver
Cobra 15* Speed Pro 3W
Cobra 20* Baffler Pro
Cobra UFI 4-PW,GW,SW,LW Graphite Cobra Melbourne II putter Ball = Pinnacle: FX Long Gold Cart = ClicGear 2.0 in yellow

Adidas Climalite Pants! Not that I'm old, but a few years ago I'd be playing in shorts in 45°. Now, forget about it.. as I near the big Three-Oh I get cold easier.

Tried them out at the range today after buying/washing and they are so damn comfortable! 45° with 20mph winds so it felt like 32 outside and I never felt the cold at all. I was really surprised as they're not geared towards cold weather like UA Cold Gear by any means.

Went to a golf expo today (snow still on the ground) and bought an orange whip trainer. Explanation of how it works by the salesman, a couple golf professionals present telling me its virtues, and my own demonstration with it, sold me.

Titleist Vokey wedge, Wilson 50 balls.  These balls are really great.  They are plenty long and  spin good.  They remind me of the old balata balls only tougher.

The room that your largest TV is in, while also being within a limited number of paces for beer retrieval.

You're welcome!

Just grabbed Kevin Na's fairway wood (Cobra X-speed with a Fuji Speeder 757 in it) from globalgolf for $30 using the free shipping code.  Well almost the same, his is a 13 degree and this is a 16.5.  Let the mini-driver experiment commence.

I also saw Russell Henley's driver there (Nike VRS 9.5 with an X-flex Voodoo shaft) for only $30.  I left it behind for one of you guys.

Cracks me up that Na uses all Titleist equipment, but still uses that King Cobra 13°. The other difference is that his shaft is a Matrix Ozik Code 7.
