Went to Golf Galaxy and got myself a Big Bertha Diablo driver (on sale for an amazing $140). Also got 3 Cleveland CG14 wedges 50º, 54º, 58º.

in all it was about...$435......Not too bad I guess considering everything was brand spanking new.

Just went today to Golf Town today. It's -40c here with the windchill (-40c is -40F) I bought a stand bag, Daytek Vapor ($50) for going to the range. The Bennington (Quiet Organizer) that I normally use is huge...also bought an Under Armour glove ($10), and a doz Wilson Zip balls ($16). Now, in 3 - 4 months, I can finally use them!!!!!

@ Edwin watts Golf in Tampa, New2007 Callaway Fusion Wide Sole irons, 3 - PW, graphite shaft, stiff.

I traded in my very used Callaway Fusion irons 3 - SW + $360, for a total price of $600.....they used to sell for $1,300.

I looked at the 2009 wide sole fusions, but do not like the wider soles......I really like the older 2007 ones.

Went to look at a new driver for my son and drove home with a new Adams A7 3i hybrid for myself. Seemed to hit it better than my Adams A4. My son gets my A4.

Last night, I tested wedges for over an hour. I came home with two Mizuno MP-Rs in the Black Nickel: 56.10 and 60.9. They had a great closeout deal. I had read the forums for hours on end, did a wedge fitting on the Titleist, Cleveland, and Scratch websites and I am still not sure I made the best choices in terms of bounce. I am a sweeper slider who plays very few soft, fluffy bunker courses. Whatever that may be worth. I just know that hitting shots with an MP-R feels like butter.

I got a sweet new Ping hat and an Adidas Exert glove for the upcoming season. Spring cannot get here soon enough.
P.S. It is currenty 9 degrees here with projected highs of -3 and -4 for Thursday and Friday respectively - HOORAY!!!!

bought the sand bottle attachment for my cliqgear cart and a new headcover for the driver,,, wore the last one out.. unbelievable considering how often I usually change drivers.
