I find these physics problems interesting. Two of my fiends are like brain broken over the results of these experiments. Quantum physics just doesn’t play nice for us.

Good stuff! Interesting. I’ve enjoyed physics like this. But haven’t looked into things in a while.

Did he say, "irregardless"? πŸ˜¬ In any event, I think he's explained my golf swing. I used to think my golf swing was a prime example of chaos theory - a very tiny change to the initial parameters of my swing produces a large and unpredictable result at impact. The butterfly effect. Now, I realize that it's due to quantum mechanics and entangled particles and collapsing wave forms and the Heisenberg Principle. Whew! I'll sleep better tonight knowing it's just not my fault!

Makes perfect sense to me.  That my golf ball could be on the green, in a sand trap, or in the pond...at the same time...is consistent with my experience.  It is only when I look at it (if possible) that I can determine where it is.  So it isn't so much "play it as it lies"  it's "play it as it manifests itself at present".  Keeping in mind that the perceived manifestation is a figment, or direct result, of the observation itself.  No wonder we never play the same shot twice.

I really like watching and reading about stuff like this. I’ve read a lot of books on physics, astrophysics, string theory and even the history of how these theories evolved. It’s all pretty hard to fully grasp, but you can get a decent idea of it.

I think the real lesson here is to never open your eyes after hitting a shot.  When that wave form collapses, inevitably you’ll be in the pond.
