I currently play MacGregor VIP V-Foil 1025CMs (blade w-7, somewhat progressive cavity 6-3). I was at the range last night with a group and I got to hit my friend's new Mizuno MP-32s... and I fell in love.

I was getting my MacGregor 7-Iron into a net about 170 yards out, and landing in the front portion of the net. I try out the MP-32 7-Iron, and I hit it into the back of the net (probably about 5-8 yards further) on a very easy swing, and it felt so sweet and pure.

Who else plays the MP-32s? In my short time hitting them last night, they felt like butter. How similar are they to the MP-33s, or other Mizuno blades?

Anyone have a new/slightly used set they don't play anymore......

I play mp33 irons and they are as easy to hit as the mp32 in my opinion. I previously played the mp30 and I believe the mp32s are closer to the mp33s.

try them and you might like them. I bought mine on ebay for about $250 plus shipping costs.

which is supposed to be the easier club to hit the 32's or the 67's?

The 32s are definitely a little longer but they're not much different in the forgiveness category. The 67s do feel more workable to me, but that might just be me.

The 32s are getting discontinued, I think.

Hmm, this is both good and bad news. Good news that I might be able to get them cheaper, bad news is that if I miss the window, I'm going to have to pay an arm and a leg to get 'em.

Oh man, I'm daydreaming at work of seeing chromed, new irons sitting in my bag... CPHoya - I see you've played Chalk Mountain. You play any other courses on the Central Coast of Cali? I went to Cal Poly, SLO. Played a ton at Dairy Creek, Morro Bay and Chalk Mountain. #13 at Chalk Mountain was always fun, go go Cardiac Hill. Loved walking up that hill...haha. I think I liked the par 5, #15 more though.

I have the MP 32's and i couldn't dream of getting anything else! they are beautiful and they just feel so awsome to hit! If you have the skill and are able to get them, do it! they rule! :D

There are two, new sets of player irons being released by Mizuno. One is the MP52 and the other is going to be the MP62.

The MP32s are going to be made available through their "Signature Series" line, similar to the MP37. Of course, all this is subject to change, however, this was what I read, recently.

    • For me it would be opt 1 , even though it’s a watching it slip away scene.  I believe it was Brando who lamented at the end of Streetcar Named Desire that he could’ve been a contender….would I be like @ChetlovesMer’s friend?  I hope not, but to know that for a moment I was giving the  win a run for the money would be a great memory…

    • On my calendar thx @Hardspoon for putting this together
    • After a bit of a lean spell managed to birdie stroke hole one, long par five. Ball striking best it’s been for a while short game exactly the opposite. Had so many opportunities to post good scores last three or four games, failed miserably😀
    • Would You Rather #69 For this question let's assume you are playing whatever tournament is important to you.  Would you rather finish second in your tournament but be remembered for a huge mistake you make right at the end.  or  Would you rather play solidly in your tournament, but you still finish outside the top 25, and are never really in contention.  Incidentally, this happed to a friend of mine many years ago at the tournament I play every year. He was leading the tournament coming into the last hole, where he took two to get out of a greenside bunker and then three-putted his way to second place. He hasn't really been in contention again since.
