I think 2 in a row would be my max, but I'm not positive. I know a couple years ago I started my round birdie, eagle. I think that's the only time in my life I've been -3 at any point of any round. The most birdies I've ever had in a round is 5 (that included 3 on back 9). Of course with my skills I'm able to pair every birdie with a bogey or higher . My best rounds usually only have 1 birdie or so, but few '+' scores. It always seems the more birdies (and eagles) the more bogies I end up with.

for consecutive birdies, only two in a row. I cant imagine the courses I play someone dropping 4 or 5 in a row. But last month I started the back 9 on a course birdie eagle birdie. Ended up shooting even par.

I have made 3 in a row on two occasions. The first time I did it, the fourth hole was a par 5 and I had a chance to get there in two with an iron in my hand. I just choked on the second shot and then proceeded to skull the bunker shot over the green...IDIOT!!!

I've had a couple of rounds with 3 in a row, but never been able to get the fourth. I had two in a row yesterday, but ran out of holes... 17 and 18. Does it count for 3 in a row if I birdie the first hole this afternoon?

Cheers, Allan

I've had 7 in a row twice, and I've had 5 birdies and an eagle in a row.

My swing thoughts:

- Negative thinking hurts more than negative swinging.
- I let my swing balance me.
- Full extension back and through to the target. - I swing under not around my body. - My club must not twist in my swing. - Keep a soft left knee

I have had 5 in a row once, and 4 in a row several times. Not so impressive if you consider it was on a 9 hole muni that is very short.

I had 3 in a row a couple times in league last year - in fact, I'm surprised how many rounds I had where I would have 3 birdies, 4 bogeys and 2 pars.

4 birdies in a row, shot 32 going out once (TPC Piper Glen). Nice greens that day.

2 eagles in a row at Tot Hill Farm (weird, short par 5s)

    • Imma throw a dart in the dark as no one can tell what is happening once every fourth iron shot per your OP. This might sound counterintuitive but if ball position is too far back in the stance folks are known to throw down clubhead steeply. Could be happening. And yes, @billchaois not wrong; clubhead tends to bottom out wherever your pressure is. So slide forward (not sway), then hit.
    • Day 300 (!): did a stack session.
    • Day 24: Missed my weekly round due to a last minute little league makeup game this morning. Managed to get in some backswing rehearsals while grilling sausages for dinner, and then putted around the office/laundry room after dinner.
    • but I don't understand how that's possible you still want your head to stay back you don't want the upper body coming forward and plus I've tried feeling that and it made my fat shots worse and I then tend to pull and sky all my shots especially with driver because I get in front of it dont need force plates to see i finish on my left side
