ROFL. I totally agree.

I would have to go with Tiger just for the simple fact that he brings so much to the game of golf. I really enjoy watching Casey, Perry, Kim, Phil, etc. just for the simple fact that each has their own approach to the game and it's fun to watch the similarities and the differences at the same time.

Wow, you list Monty first, and hate on Ian?

I stand in direct opposition to this view.

Always pulled for Fred Couples, John Daly, Phil Mickelson, and Davis Love III. Just recently I have really seen first hand how arrogant DL III really is. he just redesigned my home course and came out to play it. All the members could follow around and watch him play. He was beyond arrogant and cocky. I still think he has an incredible swing but I really dont support him much since that day.

I don't know if I can pick a favorite. I admire Arnie the most. Jack of course was a fellow buckeye. Right now, I am pulling for my fellow alum, Frank Licklighter.

Just convince yourself that it's for her putting (she's currently ranked #1 overall) like I do. That way, you don't feel guilty when you watch her bend over to read putts or pluck her ball out of the hole.

I think that Zach Johnson and Jeff Sluman are not only great players, but also give the best interviews. They are very forthright, and have a sly sense of humor. When the microphone is in front of them, I pay attention. With many other pro golfers, the interviews are boring when they just use "golf lingo".

My very favorite golfer is Corey Pavin. He is not a powerhouse - he has won a major - but I like him rather because of his approach to the game and life. He is mature, confident, but very humble.

Natalie and Paula Creamer are two of my favorite golfers, and you are right about watching them. They both have charming personalities and are very fan friendly at events like the Corning Classic, Wegman's and the Women's Open. I also saw Natalie at a Skins Game (what a name for an event with her in it) at the Turning Stone Resort where she played with Arnie, John Daly and Kix Brooks in September of 2006.

The LPGA is fortunate to have two beautiful American players like Natalie and Paula playing at the same time. If their events cannot be popular now, I do not see what else can be done to increase popularity and TV ratings.

    • It's not. 🤣 It's over 90 seconds into a 5-minute video before they say anything about physics, and when they do, they talk about mastering the double pendulum with a definition that includes gravity or something. Here, @GreenhornGolfer and others: https://amzn.to/3IHnf0N. Buy that.
    • Barring a disaster, this will be Scheffler's fourth major and only missing the US Open for a career slam.
    • Have slowly been working on hooding my long irons less. Using a much more neutral grip and a feel of swinging above the waist. This was the 2nd swing today. A clean clip with a 4-iron with what seems like an okay centered pivot and decent balanced finish.
    • Nobody is getting close and Scottie is not letting them. BDC could've had a shot without that awful Thursday. He shot 16 under on the last three days.
