WTH?!?! I posted all those pics on page five to show how ridiculous it is to use side by side pics to show someones height. Hell, phil makes tiger look like he is 5 8' in one of the pics.

I actually looked up the external dimensions of the buick tiger is standing directly in front of to determine his height...

Interesting. I'm 6'2 1/2. From what I understand anything over 6' becomes a detriment to your swing? My clubs are probably a bit too small.

Not neceassarily true.

Taller people usually have longer arms which will balance out the fact that they're taller(making the bottom of their hand at the same height as a shorter person).

Not that I can blame all of the problems with my golf game on my height (6'6"), but every teaching pro I've ever talked to has said it's a handicap in every way except in generating distance (though technique is better than mass, strength and length in that regard--ask Anthony Kim, for example). Sure, a tall golfer's arms are longer to offset some of the height and properly fitted clubs will be longer than normal, so there's no problem reaching the ground, but as a matter of physics it's a much longer torque arm (arm length + club length) to have to stabilize to strike the ball cleanly. Same principle applies to clubs alone; easier to control the shorter-length wedges and short irons than a 45" driver, and most makers have now added on even more length to try to squeeze out more distance, to the detriment of most golfers.
