It was close between Titleist and Taylormade. I pick titleist because they hold value pretty much own the golf industry, caps, drivers, irons, wedges, putters, balls.

I love taylormade woods and some of their stuff too.

This has to be a troll poll. On this site, Mizuno and Callaway are probably the top 2 brands.

I don't have any favorite club manufacture. I don't care who makes what, so long as I like the feel and can play the club.

Why do people keep saying Miura? Does anyone in this forum even own Miura clubs?

I've always been a Titleist guy when it comes to irons. I like their simple, straight-forward approach and their focus on "tradition." I suppose I also like them because of their name - which for me inspires confidence - and that, I think, helps my game.

What I Play:

Driver: R9 460
4 Wood: G15

Irons: AP1 4-PW

Wedges: Vokey 52* & 60*, Mizuno MP-T 10 58*

Callaway and Mizuno, which happen to not be up there <.<

A quote from Kris
...is that college bball really isn't "lower tier". The better teams have their rosters filled with guys who could play in the NBA. hell, guys used to come straight from high school to the NBA. I really don't think there's much of a difference skill-wise between the two.

This poll rocks:

My main set (Sun Mountain bag) contains the following "others":

- Mizuno irons
- Ram gap wedge
- Callaway driver
- Wilson Staff hybrid
- Wilson Staff blade putter

My backup bag contains:
- Hogan Apex irons
- Mizuno gap wedge
- Spalding Bobby Jones investment cast sand wedge
- sometimes the Ray Cook mallet putter and sometines the MacGregor blade

Balls: typically some form of Noodle or Top Flite

Mizuno MP600 driver, Cleveland '09 Launcher 3-wood, Callaway FTiz 18 degree hybrid, Cleveland TA1 3-9, Scratch SS8620 47, 53, 58, Cleveland Classic 2 mid-mallet, Bridgestone B330S, Sun Mountain four5.

My favorite brand is Titleist but I'm very happy with my Odyssey putter so I think Callaway is close to Titleist. TaylorMade also makes great clubs and Mizuno makes probably the best irons in golf.

Every OEM on the list (along with others) makes good products. The differences are mostly cosmetic IMO.

My favorite is Callaway because I have personally experienced their highly acclaimed customer service department. This gives me confidence that they will meet me at lease half-way if there is a problem. That, along with their wide variety of products causes me to look for a Callaway product first most of the time. That doesn't mean I always buy Callaway. It's just where I start when considering a new purchase. At the moment, I only use 3 pieces of their equipment (ball, driver, & putter). The rest of my bag is a melting-pot.

I have to agree with trumps4 Callaway customer service response. A couple of weeks ago I bought a used hyper X 4 hybrid. They said that it was in good condition according to their club rating chart. I received the club a couple of days later the head looked great I would call it 9 out of 10 stars, accept for the fact that the shaft was cracked half way around in the middle. I called Callaway customer service and the lady apologized (I told her thanks, but it wasnt her fault) and said that she was going to send me (next day air) a brand new club!! Sure enough, next day I had a new club on my desk. All for $65.

The Miura Black wedges are the sex! I think my 56 and 60 will be replaced by those beauties.

I'm with many others here; I voted "Other". Too many excellent makers absent. My "Other" vote would go to Wilson; don't like their recent history but they get my vote for the FG-17s alone, two sets of which I wore out in my younger years. MacGregor would be up there for me as well.

Other OEMs you could (should?) have had:

Wilson
MacGregor
Hogan
Mizuno
Callaway (not for me though!)
