Usually a quarter of any type or the odyssey marker on my divot tool, if I don't have either on me, I use the one on my glove until I fetch one of the others out of my bag.

I used to use guitar picks...then I switched to a thinner thickness Dunlop Tortex pick that is green and...well...that didn't work out so well.

My little sister got me a bag of neon ball makers for Christmas that I am using for the time being.

I have a few

Heinekin Light bottle cap
$25 chip from The Commerce Casino
500yen coin
Range token from my favorite course, La Purisima
1976 Bicentennial quarter (year I was born)
Ball mark with a pair of dice on it about the size of a nickel

I lost a nickel from 1945 I used to use. If anyone plays at Twin Oaks in San Diego and finds it, please return it! I think it was on the 14th or 15th tee.

I just got a new ball marker. $1 Bolivian coins.

They aren't too shiny, a little bigger than a quarter, and much thinner. My wife's family is from Bolivia, so when her brother and sister moved in with us (temporarily, I hope) they brought some coins for me.

I just got a magnetic ball marker on a divit tool from Chambers Bay. Used it all round.

Before that I got a coin-liker from Yuciapa Valley Golf Club...golf trip with a friend.

I have a magnetic ball marker that I have been using since December 06. The metal base fits on my hat and it the mini version of my clubs the mp33.

I notice more LPGA player use magnetic ball marker than on the PGA tour. I like the magnetic ball marker because it it very convenient and I don't have to search in my pocket for a ball marker.

Several years ago I attended the Buick Open and was given what looks like a jackknife in a cloth pouch which fits on your belt. It has a brush for cleaning club heads, divot tool, tool for changing cleats, a knife blade and a magnetic ball marker. You just flip open (velcro) cover and slide it out.

My dad just found an old token from Discovery Zone that I will start using as my marker. Everyone's birthday parties were at DZ when I was a kid.
I'll use it until I find something better. I previously used a green or orange plastic marker.

I use old NYC subway tokens. Either the one with the pentagon shaped hole in the middle, or the smooth centered token. I should polish them a bit, they're very small, and the golden color doesn't stand out as much as something silver .

I use a a coin from Costa Rica, I can't remember the name of it but it's nice.

Same here. I use a 50 colones piece or an FSU standard marker.

I use a 1912 Liberty Head Nickel (also known as the V nickel because it has a V on the back of it) The one I use is not in as good shape as the one pictured below, but its still pretty good:

I usually use any one from a bunch of change I grab as I leave the house.

However I recently bought a Titelist cap with the magnetic ball marker and now I use that. It's fantastic - no more digging amongst tees for that coin ...

First post guys! Looking forward to the discussion.

If I'm not in anyone's line, I use a divot tool or a tee.

If I am in someone's line, I use whatever coin is in my pocket. I need to get a coin that has some "luck" or sentimental value to it and use it, though.
