HBO's Entourage golf episode

Entourage is my favorite series on HBO. I just saw the Golf episode where Mark Walburg and Tom Brady appear.

It was awesome, they were talking about handicaps, and Mark W. said he was a "solid 5" and Tom Brady said he was a 3.

Anyone else watch it?

I haven't seen that episode. I'll look out for it though. Wahlberg plays (occassionally) at the course where I work. From what I've heard from some people (this was in 2008), he's a solid golfer...possibly a 12. That was last year though. It's funny, too, because Turtle from Entourage was/is interested in joining the club. Maybe the two are buds. Did Turtle speak about golf at all?

LOL you guys are late. But I don't know if you know this but Wahlberg is in charge of the whole show so I would assume him and mark would be friends.

Wahlberg was also on Playing Lessons from the Pros recently. I think he said he played to a 15, however I dont buy it. Granted it is an edited show, but he played much better than a 15 from what they showed.

The Entourage episode was okay, just like the rest of this past season. I don't know if I over-hyped myself after the long delay and looking forward to it like a kid on Christmas morning, but this season has been the worst yet.

Yeah, I thought that episode was pretty funny. I actually saw Drama on my birthday at Camarillo Springs golf course in Camarillo, CA. The person I was playing actually knew the 3rd person in Drama's group (him and his buddy and then the 3rd person who was an employee at the golf course). We talked to him later and he said Drama came and played there all the time.

I also took some lessons at Sterling Hills golf course and my teacher told me that Drama and Turtle had come in multiple times and that they were very similar to the characters they played on the show. He said none of the other main characters golfed. Yeah, this season of Entourage has definitely been the worst, ESPECIALLY last Sunday's episode and the one a couple weeks ago that was a lot about Andrew Klein and his Wife's plot line. It's just too over the top and stupid. Like the whole seen with Andrew Klein's wife barging into the office and yelling at everyone, waaaay dumb. And this episode was possibly the worst. The whole Ashley subplot isn't very interesting, and the Andrew Klein subplot is just downright painful to watch.

Just an FYI in case you didnt know already. Entourage is based on Mark Walburg and his crew. He writes and produces the show. This is common knowledge at this point but for the guy who asked if "Turtle" and Walburg are friends this should answer your question.

I want more Lloyd abuse... its really the only reason I watch (well that and my GF makes me).

Being a New England Product, I was pumped for Brady, but he certainly didn't seem like a natural actor... good thing he can still throw the ball.

Yeah and E has all taylormade clubs with r9 drivers/fairway woods in that episode.


Also on the show, Ari is portrayed as a golf shark, but in reality he never had golfed before and sucks balls. haha.

Yes and Ashley reminds of my Driver - BIG head and stick body. Get back with Sloan already.

Back to golf - I really wish they would teach Ari how to swing better and even better. In the episode with Lefty ari putting looked brutal for a guy who suppose to a be a single digit capper who "never misses inside 10 feet"

I'm pretty sure that I read somewhere that Kevin Dillon's (Drama) dad is a High School or College golf coach, so he can actually play a bit.

I wouldn't doubt that Kevin Dillon is probably a lot better player than what he portrays on the show - just saying, if I ran into someone like his character on the course, they'd get worked.

I love Jeffrey Tambor in that episode. When he hit it in the water a few times then decided to just throw the ball. At the end he got a course record of 55 (i think). Best part of the episode.
