my point was he's been doing it for so long, what's he really gotta get over? he didn't realize his marriage was a joke? he didn't think "wow...i have a supermodel wife, beyond a great career, kids, business ventures and the positive reinforcement of the entire golf world...but man those pornstars, bar chicks and tramps are worth it more i think..." it's a shot to his ego that he knew would come, i'd keep my personal life quiet too if i was a womanizin jerkoff ;)

It seems to be a much bigger issue for you that it is for Tiger. You seem so certain that because he has violated your high moral code that it must be a bigger deal for him than the death of his father. I respectfully disagree. He and his father were as close as two people can be. And just because I disagree with you, that doesn't make me a "fanboy".

Many people feel a great sense of relief and freedom after a secret comes out. That's it. I'm not saying he'd have won more tournaments in the past, I'm suggesting that - based on what other people have said in the past who have had big life-altering secrets - this could very well free him up to play better golf in the future. And if you have to resort to calling people who put forth some logical sort of argument "fanboys" then you've lost the discussion.

I enjoyed the initial gossip but beyond that, Tiger Wood's personal / family life is none of my business. Tiger Woods is on the verge of making golf history and he will aggressively pursue that goal. There would be a great public outcry against any golf organization attempting to interfere with his return to the tour. The sooner he comes back, the better.

I'm doubtful that his return to golf will be at a tourament sponsered by a company that dropped him but I will personalyl garuntee a Masters appearance and probably 1-2 starts before then

Most psychologists would agree with that. Based on many articles I've read and studied, many people in that category subconsciously want to get caught and as a result will deliberately leave evidence.

Getting back to the original topic, I guess Tiger will pick a venue and time that will be the most comfortable for him. The sooner his audience can seperate his personal life from his golf game the better. Hopefully it will be before the Masters. It would be interesting to know what his publicity people are telling him.

That attitude puzzles me. What's he owe you? Why does he need to be more humble? Maybe that's good advice if Tiger cares what his "fans" think or what his peers think or whatever, but if he was worried about what people thought he'd have acted differently before, no? What makes you think that'll change?

Tiger - on the golf course - cares about breaking records. I get the sense he wouldn't care if he didn't have any fans - he does it for his own satisfaction.

I agree with you that Doctorfro seems to be contradicting himself. He seems to be saying he will forgive Tiger only if he asks for it. I thought giving someone a second chance meant no strings attached.

Tiger owes the public nothing except living up to the title of the world's best golfer. And, I think Iacas got it right that Tiger isn't out to "please" anybody (fans). He's there to win golf tournaments. Also, while I am a huge Mickelson fan, I wouldn't mind seeing the 2 best players battle it out...again.
