My first ace was 183 yard par 3 at Indian Springs GC , it was in my top 5 ugly shots ever... bladed the ball off the tee box it never got more than probably 5 feet off the ground, bounced in the fringe and rolled roght in the hole, next hole was the easiet hole on the course and I made a 9 on it

Never had an eagle but i remember my first birdie. It was an uphill par4 . I had a horrible tee shot and second shot. I was about 50 yards from the green and somehow managed to pitch it in. But since the pin was well above me I didnt see go in. We searched for awhile for the ball before thinking to check the hole. I wish I had thought enough to keep the ball.

My birdie was at the 12 off the junior tees which are the ladies general play as well i hit the ball near the hole and made the putt. My most treasured birdie was on the 2 at my home course it is 380 yards rougly and i drove the ball about 230 yards i duffed my second shot about 50 yards then i holed out from just over 100 yards with a 9 iron

I kept the ball from my first career birdie.

Almost had an ace on a 9th hole, 164 yard Par 3. Hit a terrible tee shot that overshot the green but I got lucky and it hit a tree, rolled onto the green and rung around the cup. Craziest, luckiest shot I've ever hit. Had it not hit the tree, it would've been a good 25-30 yards off the back of the green.

I remember my first hole in one. Thirty eight years ago when I was 17. I made it with the old 'Club Special' golf ball, made by Acushnet. At the time, the company offered a free ash tray with the ball mounted on it. Didn't even smoke, but I had an ash tray.

I can't remember my first birdie and eagle. I'm old.

Did a few nice eagles on par 4 from 120 - 150 yards, of course a few eagles on par 5...

The only ace I did was after one of my worst shot...the ball went far right, up in the sky, hit a rock, came back to the green and...
Strange feeling when you feel you have made a horrible shot and see your ball fall in the hole a few seconds later...sometimes this game is not fair!...

Let make it more interesting

    • Day 316 - More swings, full backswing and full finish.
    • Day 132: did some mirror work while watching TV. Worked on backswing stuff primarily.
    • 26 Nov 24 -  It was not a record breaking round by any means, but rather a simple walking of the back nine today playing TBWB (two ball-worse ball) where the challenge is to play the worse of the two shots played - could be an errant drive from the woods, a tree knocked ball that is 100 yds farther back down the fairway, a nGIR ball as opposed to a GIR….the goal today was to stay no worse than bogie thru nine.  Managed to achieve that goal - bogied 7 holes with one dbl and one par to counter the dbl.  It’s about staying focused and not letting a bad shot or lie derail, but rather be an opportunity.
    • Day 208 (26 Nov 24)- Opted to walk 9 today (was the back nine as they had a huge group going off the front) but instead of it being persimmons and blades, I had the regular gamers but made it a TBWB (two ball-worst ball) round.  This really challenges on several fronts - ball striking to be as consistent as possible, course management from non-optimal lies and keeping your head in it as it can be depressing to nail a shot on line-on target and the second rattles the trees right and it’s over 50 yards back and that’s the one you have to play.  The goal was to be no worse than bogie overall (+9).  Finished the round exactly on the number with some solid recoveries, no penalty strokes and only one 3-putt.
