What's Your Best Club?

I'd have to go with my 9 iron.

Two best sticks for me are my SW & 5 Wood. Couldn't have played my round today without them.

The 5 Wood set up some nice layups that left me full or nearly full SW shots.

I made some sweet pitches and two quality bunker shots that saved pars with my SW also.

my mp 001 3 wood. i bleed confidence everytime i address the ball with this club, whether its off the deck or off a tee.

my 2nd favorite is my driver...

3rd fav is most definetly my lob wedge... can't live without it either...

For me it's probably my 60* lob wedge. I just love that thing. Love the flop shot. Given the choice.....I'd rather be 15 yards off the green in the rough and flop it on, than make a GIR with a lag putt of more than 40 ft. More often than not I leave my self a one putt off a flop shot than a long lag putt.

My Adams Pro Gold 60* lob wedge is my #1.
#2 I'd have to go with my Adams 19* hybrid
#3 I'd say is a toss up between my 8 iron (best shot I've ever hit was with an 8i) or my 29* Cobra Baffler hybrid

Lately its my for me is my 7i - 145-155yds... Whenever im indecisive within that range, 7i comes out of the bag right away.

6 and 7 irons are what I use when I'm indecisive. They give you great height without sacrificing distance.

Here lately its been my Nike SQ Dymo Square 5 wood with a reg flex shaft. I normally hit a stiff flex but my wife bought me this club for Christmas and she doesn't know the difference but I can hit this club straight with an awesome trajectory every time. So yeah, that's my fave right now...

As an update on my previous post, I would have to say my new favorite club is my 6 iron. When my swing doesn't get in the way it is a great club for me.

Lately it has been my 4 iron surprisingly enough. Been having trouble finding my swing this year but over the last few rounds just about every time I have pulled the 4 iron out of the bag the ball has flown a straight 190-200 yards pretty much exactly where I wanted it to go.

After that it's a tie between my putter and my 58* wedge...both have been treating me pretty well lately.

My Adams Redline Ti 460 driver. This thing is still the hottest driver I have ever hit.

I'm liking my pitching wedge a lot right now. Have had two shots in the last two rounds from ~110 yards to < 15' from the pin, one was < 5'. It's just been awesome. My sand wedge has also been good to me, and I've been using it a lot, at least once on just about every hole. Nearly had a couple chip-ins from just off the fringe yesterday, and left short putts on a couple of tricky ones too.

So far this year my 4h has been my best club. I've been struggling with consistent ball striking (relatively speaking given my handicap) every round this year but I seem to hit that club well almost every time. I'm seriously considering leaving the driver at home for a while and using the 4 off every tee.
