Well done to Rose for closing the win out this week after falling away last weekend.

He has got to be one of the favorites for The Open now and has jumped above Lefty in the Fedex Cup.
I hope he continues his great run of form as he has clearly found something in recent months

Good Job Justin!!!!!!

Yes, I thought it rather ironic that a Brit wins on the Fourth of July.

The guy is on a roll...I would like to see him do well in the Open...I remember his hole-out when he was 17.

I find Rose to be very personable and likeable. I hope this is just the start of a major run for him.

I am with you on liking him a lot but am not confident in him closing the deal on a Sunday in a major. No way he could hold on, he would have to do it from a few back.

The guy isn't just playing good golf right now, he's playing very confident golf. I fully expect him to be in contention in The Open Championship.

Justin's been working with Tiger's new teacher for awhile now (this year, last autumn), too...

And yes, if you think Tiger's not seeking the feedback of Sean Foley and is just teaching himself based on video, you're bonkers.

Definitely the most easiest on the eyes looking swing of all the brits - Casey, Poulter, Westwood (ugh).

Because that's important. If a beautiful swing was the key, that Favret dude would have won the US Open.

I don't think he said it was important. He said that, in his opinion, it was an easier swing to watch. People like watching Ernie Els or anyone else with a smoother swing or a better tempo - I don't think nevets88 or anyone else here is stupid enough to think that guarantees he's a better golfer. Chill.

I suppose that's true. I've always enjoyed watching Davis Love III and Nick Price hit the ball. I don't find Ian Poulter, Paul Casey, or even Lee Westwood's swings that awful to look at - the ball seems to generally go where they aim. They all seem a bit streaky though.

I think he is playing wonderful golf...........................but the one thing I admire the most is his temperament. No angry outbursts or swearing after a bad golf shot, no angry looks, no weird stares or gestures after missing putts etc..
very focused and controlled player.

Agreed. He has a great temperment. I did enjoy that moment when he looked at his club face after hitting it dead right from the aweful lie near the bunker lip into the trees. Of course it didn't faze him as he calmly made his par.

how about my boy Ryan Moore though? Did he win any more fans among you guys with his play in this tournament? I may be among the minority here, but I LOVE watching this guy play. He plays so loose and almost like he doesnt care, I just think it's fun to watch.

Have any of you tried Justin Rose's Swing Plane Training System with the Levels and grip? It says that it will make your plane better. They sell them for over $60, but I saw some on Ebay for $25. I always have such a flat swing, I was wondering if anyone had any info on this product. I know it wouldn't be magic, but I was considering giving it a try....

Poor ryan moore lol i like the guy but his swing looks about the same as the clothes he wears, offbeat. For some reason he has become super inconsistent, guess he shot his load in college golf because he dominated there. Really i just hate how he looks like a dog squatting to take a crap then shoves the club down between his knees. The actual swing is ok but that setup, wow.

    • You can pre-order an R50 here for pretty rapid shipping (these are back-ordered almost everywhere): https://www.playbetter.com/products/garmin-approach-r50-golf-launch-monitor-simulator?ghref=2301%3A700794. This is an affiliate purchase, and I'm willing to kick back lifetime ad-free Supporter membership here on TST or a 90-minute GEARS session for the cost of a regular member lesson (about 1/3 the cost). Also, I'll record a video myself soon when I get an R50.
    • Day 58 - 2024-11-27 Some quick 90-yard shots on a particular hole… before a lesson and testing out multiple Foresight Launch Monitors on GSPro.
    • Day 209 (27 Nov 24) - Easy session with the LW - short pitches replicating greens side up and downs. Finished up with the 7i and hard foam balls - making 1/2 to 3/4 swings with deliberately slowed tempo…from varied lies.
    • Yes, this is the 2024 model. DSG ruined what Callaway perfected for most golfers. A darn good 3 piece golf ball. Now it's a 2 piece cheap ball. To me a 2 piece ball is fine and a 3 piece budget ball is better. I prefer a slightly harder ball, something in the 65-75 compression range that will perform similar to the old Gamer. The Titleist tru-feel is pretty good. I planned on giving Maxfli straightfli a try.
