If you're going the route of NDMC check into the Sharpros. Exact same grip as Golf Pride's for half the cost. As a matter of fact GP pays Sharpro royalties to use their design.

i like the NDMC grip on my driver and 3 wood but I dont think I would put it on again. I had the NDMC grip on my wedges and noticed when I was sweating the soft lower part without the chord is very slick. I prefer the golf pride tour velvet chord now because the entire grip is much softer than the NDMC chord part and the entire grip is chord so it wont slip as much

Two things...

- Regrip all your clubs at once. It helps when all your clubs feel the same in your hand and you arne't having to adjust depnding on what club you are hitting.

- The type of grip you get is a completely personal choice, but make sure you are getting the proper size grip. Most people just get a standard size with maybe one wrap of tape, but changing grip size can make just as big an impact on your shots as having the lie/loft of your clubs changed.

Those NDMC are all hype. The pros only use that model cuz theyre paid too. Haha. JK but I HATED them on my irons. I never tried them on my wedges or woods. I just put a few of the Golf Pride tour wrap 2gs and I LOVE them. I also went midsize and have been hitting the ball a little better too.

I agree, I hate the feel of the NDMC. I have all my clubs gripped with Lamkin Performance Plus and have plenty to re-grip whatever comes thru the corral. I grip with air so I can re-use them over and over.

You don't know what you're talking about. Some pros use NDMC grips, most don't. They use grips they like. If you theink that there's "hype" surronding something like a golf grip, you're missing something. If people on golf forums like talkking about equipment, that doesn't equate to "hype", which would typically come from a manufacturer.

The fact that YOU hated them on your irons....what does that mean? A lot of people love them. Having said that, most pros use something as basic as a Tour Velvet.

In the race of life, always back self-interest. At least you know it's trying.

both of those grips are almost on the opposite end of NDMC's. they're both sticky and soft grips, while the NDMC's are more rough, corded, still tacky grips. so of course if you like soft grips, you won't like rough corded grips.

I have never had a problem with them slipping ever, even when my hands get ridiculously sweaty. I've often found they hold better with a bit of sweat in my hands as well. My friend has Tour Wrap 2G's and I'll tear that grip apart within a couple months if I used it.

i have a question about grips but i dont feel like starting an entire new thread so i figure ill just ask on this one...

Are chorded grips geared toward people that dont wear gloves? I almost feel that my chord grips chew up my glove more so than a non chorded.

I don't think so. I wear gloves and use cord grips.

He followed that up with "haha jk". It sounded more tongue-in-cheek to me. The fact that Joyvee didn't like them means as much as you (or me) liking them. He's just giving his opinion on them.

To the OP: I like the GP NDMC because I like the cord and the non-cord part is great too. They are also great because you can extend their lifetime by sanding them if they get too slick. You mentioned doing it one by one, I wouldn't because, especially if you get different size grips in the new ones, the performance will be different.

yea now that I think of it, the reason why I dont mind them on my driver but on my wedges I didnt like them is because on my wedges I choke down alot for chips. When my hands got sweaty it was very slick when I choked down.
