Here’s one for starters. In fact, I’m not even sure what the thing on the left is. A golf tee with a cord and some sort of anchoring devise so you don’t lose the tee?

Yesterday I spent three minutes looking for a wooden, black tee because I started out hitting five fairways in a row.

Next time I'm tying dental floss the magic tee that made me hit the fairway.

driver: FT-i tlcg 9.5˚ (Matrix Ozik XCONN Stiff)
4 wood: G10 (ProLaunch Red FW stiff)
3 -PW: :Titleist: 695 mb (Rifle flighted 6.0)
wedges:, 52˚, 56˚, 60˚
putter: Studio Select Newport 1.5

I played with a guys who used one of those things like his life depended on it. I wonder what happens when the tee breaks? His wasn't this fancy, just a tee tied with some string to another tee-like anchor.

The wierd thing is I have used 2 tees all year. I went to those Eco tees and I get about 50 rounds out them before they break or I lose them. Can't see why you would need a leash for a tee.

as for goofy :

the club you take pi$$ in has to top it:

Wedges Vokey 52* - 8 , 56* 14, 60*-7Putter California CoranodoBall TP RedGPS NeoRange Finder- Bushnell Tour V2 When Chuck Norris puts spin on the ball, the ball does not...

What about The Hammer? Or the Hammer putter? Or the Hamilton v2 putter or whatever that one is that guarantees you'll be sinking every putt. Laughable.

AHH the hammer. I played golf with a bunch of cops last week and one of them had THE HAMMER he bought off ebay. Everytime he'd drive the ball we'd all yell, "GOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
(the course was relatively empty, we just couldn't resist it.)

Those tees tied together with a string aren't even allowed by the USGA anyway, so using them in any sort of competition would likely get you DQ'ed. The reasoning is that such an arrangement

could be used to indicate line of play (See Definition of "tee"), so the USGA has decided to disallow them rather than to try and police the use of them. The R & A does allow their use as long as it is not set up in such a way as to indicate a line of play. Personally, I think it's a silly gimmick... I'm happy with my plain old wooden tees.

Isn't that for the practice range? I either smash or lose the tee on pretty much every shot at the range. Maybe I'm weird, but I'd use a tee on a string.

Can you imagine someone pulling that off on the 18th at Augusta with all the marbles on the line?

hmmm....... I just thought of something for the LPGA'ers to use.

Does this count as a 15th club?

Is it bad that I would definitely buy this?

The "thing" on the left reminds me of a "thing" I saw in this movie where a girl was "teeing up" herself. The movie wasn't about golf if you know what I mean.

Anybody remember those tees with half a plastic cup on top guaranteed to cure a slice?

They are still around and they are still illegal.

    • That answers my question.  That feels more natural to me. I'll work on that. Thanks
    • Complex question. Good players begin pushing forward around P2. Visibly around P3. They're well on their way forward at P4.
    • Still plugging away with the teacher.  I do have a question after working on some drills last night. This is something I should know already but for some reason, I have gotten myself confused. It deals with weight transfer on the downswing. At what point, should that take place?  Should it be early (prior to reaching A4) ?  I ask because in one of my drills  I get to A4, I feel the weight transfer AS my arms drop, and then go.  Now this may be totally normal, but I "feel" like this gets me in a weird timing position and causes me to try and do too much at once.
    • Tentatively in for at least one of those days. My job situation is a bit up in the air at the moment so need to get that sorted out first then I'll know more for sure or not.
