    • Clubface angle to target line

    • Not sure why it matters

I disagree because having them swing from the inside will change how their clubface comes into the impact zone.

Short answer: yes, but not nearly as much as you seem to think.

Slightly longer answer, with hypothetical (all #s relative to target): Guy swings 10 degrees out to in with clubface 3 degrees closed (pull slice). At the end of the lesson he's swinging 2 degrees in to out (change of 12 degrees) but his clubface will typically be pretty square or a degree open (change of 3 to 4 degrees) or so.

So changing the path, withouth changing the club face angle relative to the path, won't turn a straight slice into a push slice? Note, I didn't say the word target in that bit you quoted. Whatever.

What I'm saying is I don't think you can possibly not change the club face angle when you change your swing path, unless you're manipulating the face.

Even if the change in clubface angle is small, which it most likely will be.

I apologize for this spilling over into this forum. I kind of kept it going, when I should have let it die, on the other forum.

Just thought I'd say sorry. I'll try to start contributing more over here to make up for the frustration I have caused for some of you.

As was stated before, this whole argument started on another forum (I don't know the rules and I'm new so I won't name it.) He, s2s, gave his opinion about something and I disagreed. Next thing I know its going on in 4 different threads on 2 different forums... all with the same result I might add.

Was just jokingly saying sorry for the frustration... but seriously, sorry.

Careful. An open mind is the root cause of a life path that veers from the straight-and-narrow.
