Anyone who plays TW PGA Tour on 360/PS3/Wii will probably be glad to see this one. Augusta National will now be featured in the popular EA franchise.

Officials at the storied Georgia golf course, home to the annual Masters Tournament, announced Tuesday that Augusta National is joining forces with EA Sports to be part of its 2012 installment of the Tiger Woods PGA Tour golf game franchise.

The game will go on sale March 29, just a few weeks before the 75th playing of the Masters, and allow participants to "play" the Augusta National course by "qualifying" for and attempting to win the Masters.

Now, just give me full Kinect functionality with it and it will be near perfect!!

It's about time! So many great courses in those games and Augusta rounds them off nicely. Now they just need to add Carl Spackler to the character list.

After my copy of Tiger '10 stopped working on my Wii (and I had no way to get my money back, and it would have been wrong to sell it), I was so pissed that I didn't buy '11. I still maintain that the older ones ('05 in particular) have more fluid gameplay, though this could get me to buy '12 (for 360).

With the addition of Augusta will certainly make this a must buy for no other reason other than to play the course.  I didn't buy this years as I didn't think it was worth it as I have '10.  Very much looking forward to this new version...it would be nice if they kept some of the other good ones like pebble, spy glass, St. Andrews just to keep some of the classics.

I have a 360 as well and I'm still not sure if the better graphics make up for the lack of direct control. '11 for the Wii ranges from being decent to being quite good...

Don't get me wrong, I loved '10 for the Wii while it lasted, but I bring my 360 to school with me and leave the Wii at home, so I buy most game for the 360.

Actaully i also play it because it takes ages to complete unlike the new ones where you can finish everything apart from the Hole in 1 tracking tiger in about 2 days of normal gameplay (not playing 24/7)

Wow, they finally added Augusta . I might have to get a copy for the Wii now, which has been gathering some serious dust for a while. I still game the Tiger 08 version from time to time though.

Coming out in March they said? Kind of a ways away.

This is a first-day purchase for me for the PS3.  I'll probably just go ahead and get the Collector's Edition too because it comes with 5 extra courses for only $10 more.  In addition, it says you can now play those downloaded courses in your career mode as well.  That's a very nice addition.  And with Augusta National finally making its way into the game, it's icing on the cake.  I'm also happy to see Zach Johnson and Bubba Watson in the game, although I'd love to see Rickie Fowler get the nod as well.

I'm highly looking forward to this one, and it comes out in late March as well.  That's also a bonus.

      that is an excellent approach. I did that with my last set. I made a few 7 irons from different heads and shafts. Getting a feel for how they play on the course is the right idea. Let us know how it goes.

      New member here, and I have decided to upgrade my clubs. I have been playing for a long time but these last 10 years I have had to put four kids through college. So I've played a few rounds a year and some years have not played at all. I am currently playing Titleist 716 AP2's with Rifle 6.5 steel shafts and Winn grips. I used to hit my 7 iron around 165 yds until just 5 years ago. I turned 62 this year and noticed I can barely get my 7 iron to 145 yds. I went for a fitting to try out some new player distance irons. I don't think I need game improvement irons because I'm pretty straight and rarely try to work a ball (if I'm working a ball, then I most definetely did something wrong to get there). I tried a bunch of irons (Callaway, Mizuno, PXG, Taylormade, Srixon, Ping, and Titleist) and I kept coming back to the Ping and Titleist. They just felt right and really looked good when lining up a shot. The Ping, by far, went the longest of all the irons. The Titleist was a close second in distance. Both felt buttery smooth through impact. I was wondering if anyone else has any experience with these irons. I was getting 160 yds with a nice smooth swing (81 mph swing speed). I know I'm asking a lot of my clubs but my last fitting was 27 years ago and I ended up with some Cleveland TA3's or TA2's forged irons with Dynamic Gold S300 (swing speed 87 mph). I really love the feel of my AP2's and the place I'm going to purchase from is going to make a 7 iron in both Ping and Titleist for me to test on real grass. I'm pretty certain it's going to be either one. They're both identical in price for a set of 5-PW. I'm going to forego a 4 iron and get another 4 hybrid to go along with my 3 hybrid. Any and all replies are welcome.

      Day 47, June 22.  After work today, I spent 20 minutes in my indoor practice room, hitting about as many balls.  Slow, as slow as I could, 6-iron swings, same priority piece as the past month.
