I must be honest.  Mickelson and Woods ........ in that order.

I'm very tired of Phil and his cheerleaders.  Tiger ....... well Tiger's digging his own hole.

i dont root against any golfer. Only time it comes close is when Rory has been in the same tournament with Tiger lately, just because of his comments about Tiger and wanting to beat him when hes down

Shouldn't he want to?  Makes me root for Rory.

yea he should. I just would rather see him want to play one on one against Tiger when Tiger is actually close to playing to his potential. Its like that golfing buddy who always beats you but you want to play against him when his game and life is all messed up

Watching Tiger gag week in and week out is like slow death. Dubi had such promise only to watch him puke...and spit(ha)..all over the place. Loved watching him win but can't root for the guy anymore. To that point...is there anyone as "un-clutch" as Sergio??? After the double on 17 in the 3rd round at Dubi...yeah, the 359yrd Par 4 17th that 99% of us could at least make a 4 on....he was cooked.

Tiger Woods - always - why??? hmmmm.     cheater (guess his wife wasn't good looking enough) wife beater ( guess she didn't listen when he wanted her to go and get him a soda from the tahoe.) Always sullen in interviews ( life as one of the richest people in the world wasn't good enough).

I find it interesting how many of you root against Mickelson.  Has a "go for broke" approach to the game.  Always affable and upbeat when interviewed. Playing with arthritis (sorry can't spell it)

oh yea and his wife and mother are both fighting cancer. But alot of you hold up a low life like Woods as someone to look up to or root for.  Great country we live in. GEEZ

I fondly remember a time when the only good example professional athletes had to set was how they played the game. The guys with the never say die attitude, and those who showed good sportsmanship after tough losses, were always people to admire. I don't need to see images of Brett Favre on his tractor or AK in a club. Who cares?!?

Are all those guys still even playing (or alive)?

I don't usually root against anyone but lately (since the incident) I quietly root against Tiger. All the things he said he would do with regard to his attitude have long been forgotten.

    • Is it? I bought the Stack radar to replace my PRGR based on what Stack told me! When I am swinging for speed, the PRGR would miss 50%-80% of my backswings due to a higher speed. The stack seldom misses those- at least for me.
    • As an analyst by nature, I would like to compare the scores under both systems. It is something we can easily do if we have the data. I actually thought the new system was less fair to those whose game was on the decline - like mine! Old: Best 10 of last 20 scores with the .96 multiplier. Course handicap excluded course rating and overall par. New: Best 8/20. Course handicap includes course rating -par. My understanding is Stableford caps scores at Net double bogey like stroke play. If so, handicap should be slower to rise because you are only using 8 versus 10 scores. If I am missing something, I am curious enough to  want to understand what that may be. My home course tees that I play are 72.1/154 now. My best score out here is 82. When my game started to decline, my handicap didn’t budge for 13 rounds because of good scores in my first 8! I know I am an anomaly but my handicap has increased almost 80% in the past few years (with only a few rounds this year). For a few months I knew I was losing every bet because my game was nowhere near my handicap. I suspect I have steamrolled a few nuances but that shouldn’t matter much. When I have modeled this with someone playing the same tees and course, one good round, or return to form, will immediately reduce the handicap by some amount.
