Twin Peaks

I have played most of my golf at Twin Peaks, I enjoy it's open fairways and familiarity. It is pretty forgiving for a player of my level.

Well I'm so new I don't really have a home course. Here's where I played growing up Jones Beach in Wantaugh New York . Actually I used to play the par three there but that's the only link I could find. Moila Shrine and Country Club is a course available to me that's not terribly far away that I intend to play soon.

Has anyone here played Centre Hills in State College, PA? I just got a job there and will be playing a lot this summer. Its a very nice golf course. Originally started off as a 9 hole course built in the 1920s so its not very long, but the greens are super small on the original 9. They now have 27 holes and a very nice facility.

first, the bad news - it's a muni course, adjacent to the airport.

now, the good news - Salt Lake City has a collection of the best muni courses I've ever seen, they are relatively cheap, uncrowded, and in great condition, and this one has kind of a links feel with lots of risk-reward tradeoff opportunities.

It's a fun track.
