It might be good for DJ to move on, get some new scenery around him, though he has bounced back about as well as one could expect after his 2 major debacles last year.

My favorite line from the article: "'They just decided to take a break for awhile,' David Winkle of Hambric Sports Management said in an email."

Funny, I just read about how his caddie's job was totally safe in the most recent issue of Golf Magazine, I believe.

Does the caddie get visitation rights to see the clubs every other weekend?

I read elsewhere that Brown was the one to initiate the idea of splitting....obviously needs to be taken with a grain of salt, but very interesting if true (and I would give Brown props if it really is the case)......

Johnson and Brown spent most of their time together off the course, and Brown is dating the twin sister of Johnson's girlfriend.

Wait a second does Natilie Gulbis have a twin sister?

and I hope Gulbis is DJ new caddy.

Unfortunately, I don't think DJ is dating her.  But that was my first thought too.

Johnson has always denied that the two of them were ever dating.

Ok I was just wishfully thinking haha.  I didn't think she did but I thought they were dating as well.  As you can tell I don't keep up with gossip very well.

Probably for the best. His caddie didn't seem to offer much in the way of advice during his U.S. Open crisis last year.

Personally I think Rory needs a need caddie too. J.P is a nice bloke I'm sure but he doesn't seem very vocal at all, just seems to let him swing away with whatever shot he wants to hit. These are young, relatively inexperienced guys at the end of the day, they need someone more vocal.

A great shot is when you go for it and pull it off. A smart shot is when you don't have the guts to try it. ~ Phil Mickelson.
