What does the "skin's" mean under your avatar, I haven't noticed it on anyone elses

Read the page the Stretch posted. Also, the number of skins that you have only shows under your own avatar, but you can get a good idea of what other people have by looking at how many golf balls on tees they have (take a look under Stretch's or my avatars).

If i go on to my proffile it says ive got 11 skins, what are these?
