Plyometrics... I have several workouts from my MMA training, but there are a few cookie cutter programs on the internet to get you started. Zenolink has some really good programs and I have many of my personal ones that I can share, but they are not as geared towards the golf swing, but any plyo will have the same end results...

Say it slower . . . plyyyyyyy-ooooooo-metriiiiiiiiiiiiiiics. Now do you see?

All I'm trying to do is inform other golfers on plyometrics, it's pretty obvious from the pictures and videos that I see posted that the majority of golfers aren't fit enough or quick enough to consistently perform a repeating golf swing... So I now guess it's pretty easy to see why this crowd so far is having a hard time grasping this... But hey, you guys are probably already like me with 6% body fat and cat like reflexes... lol. And if it wasn't for me starting threads, then all you would have are your 1 post wonders looking for a magic potion to cure their shanks.

You're not informing anyone about anything. The OP can be boiled down to, "plyometrics exists, go search it on the internet."

Thanks man, I edited it to be more clear. And yes, it is designed for fast twitch and with that comes speed and repeatability. The plyo that I do is not geared towards golf which may make it boring, but there are some companies that are showing some plyometrics actually using golf clubs.

Of course you are, it's a big word and chances are it's something you'd never do. Google it and I think you can YouTube "golf plyometrics" for some basic movements... I can pm you a ton of them.

    • Day 317: light day after 72 holes in 5 days. Just did some mirror work, working on feels for getting chest and hips more open. 
    • I'd be very interested to know what you think about "your swing thought for low point for every club (except driver) is just inside your lead heel". I was working with that for a few weeks before the op and it was working very well, although of course it had an effect on other aspects (mostly faults it exposed) of the swing that then needed to be worked on.

    • This may be a first for this thread with someone posting their own video and open to a complete roast? I made the video based on the theory with which we built StanceMate, and the PGA-certified coaches that helped build that theory into a product, so it's time to put it out there. If it's a roasting, so be it! PS: Currently laid up after full shoulder reconstruction so replies may be sporadic and littered with mistakes from one-handed typing.
