What is your favorite place online or otherwise to purchase all over your golfing goodies? From the threads that I read earlier no one will say www.bhmgolf.com ! Apparently that guy likes to take tha loot but gives no merchandise!

I have purchased from my pro shop, Edwin Watts, Double Eagle Golf and eBay. The most satisfactory purchases were made at my local pro shop because I could try out the merchandise either on the range or demo on the course. I've had my poorest experience with purchases made on eBay. Nothing wrong with the eBay concept, but one should exercise a lot of caution when attempting a purchase because you cannot try out or really see the merchandise before you purchase it, therefore "caveat emptor." I suggest buying from a retailer who will allow you to touch, see and demo merchandise and, in the case of clubs, be able and willing to fit you for them.

I buy most of my stuff (clubs, golf bags, golf shoes, spikes) from Cape Fear Golf Store in Wilmington, NC. I also occassionally buy used equipment -- a used gap wedge, a couple of vintage putters, a new putter -- off of ebay. Cape Fear Golf Store is run by a great group of people who truly have the customers' best interests in mind. The store is small enough the owners & employees know most of their customers on a first name basis and large enough to have just about anything you would want. Well, I don't think they carry Nike or Taylor Made, but they do carry Titleist, Cleveland, Callaway, Ping, Nicklaus, Hogan, Cobra, Mizuno, Precept, Adams, Footjoy & more.

i go to this place called the golf and ski warehouse in west lebanon, new hampshire. it is a huge store and the closest shop to me at over an hour drive, but they have everything you need and you can hit anything they have into nets in the back of the store. the people who work at the store are super nice and helpful. a really nice shop, just too far away. good thing they are on the 'net.

I'm a big fan of Roger Dunn Golf Shops ; http://www.rdgolf.com/ (I have no affiliation with them; this link is because they go by different names in different states for some reason).

A few mats at the store to try out clubs, knowledgable staff, and 90 day 100% money back (in the form of store credit) guarantee... when I finished off my bag, I bought used from them and returned and repeated this until I had a full set of clubs I like. The last one to settle was the 3W.

I've bought in a lot of places in the past, but now I have new favorite. It won't do anybody else any good though. Since I went to work at my home course as a starter, I get anything I buy through the shop there at cost plus 10%. Tough to beat that deal...

eBay! I picked up some brand new TM RAC MB TPs for about half the price of retail. The site has some fantastic deals that can't be ignored.

For things like shoes, putters, clothing, etc., I buy in a retail store as to try before I buy.

eBay for online and Roger Dunn/Worldwide Golf (best for used putters at good prices) & Golfsmith here in So. Cal. if I want to try in person.

I usually shop around, but I've had great success with Ebay and Golfballs.com (they have a retail center here in Lafayette, LA). At the Golfballs.com retail center, you can really barter some good deals on equipment.
