Well the Springbok/Wallabies game was just weird.

All stats in favour of the boks - but Wallabies win. Couple of forward passes that if didn't happen could of changed the game entirely.

ABS vs Wallabies and Wales vs France

I'm picking Wales to beat France - they're in form.

Wallabies and ABS will be a good game - can't for certain pick a winner, but gotta back the ABs

my mate sent these stats through regarding a comparison from the last world cup and this one:

AB's V France 2007: France wins 20-18

57 tackles to 269

66% possession to AB's

60% Territory to AB's

2 penalties to 10 in favour of France

Aus V SA 2011: Australia wins 11-9

69 tackles to 251

56% possession to SA

76% territory to SA

2 penalties to 4 in favour of SA

Not surprisingly I have little sympathy for our friends from SA who benefited massively from poor officiating last RWC.

Yeah we pulled that win out of our arse. I'm thinking whoever wins the match out of Aus and NZ wins the trophy. If Wales or France wins, then this world cup is a farce.

How can it be a farce if Wales win the world cup?? By statistics, after the All Blacks we have been the best side out there. Don't take my word for it, the 2011 World Cup stats say so.

Plus in terms of winning margins, of the top 4 Wales have 2 of the biggest winning margins. One of those included conceding no points, thats right 66-0. We have played some of the best clinical rugby at this world cup and have defended brilliantly.

Your just gonna be a typical southern hemisphere support who expects either SA,NZ or AU to win the world cup every time. At least there are real rugby supporters out there who appreciate seeing good rugby.

Lets be fair, NZ will knock you out. If not, Wales will in the final. Think we beat Ireland convincing enough and you couldnt get close to the paddy's.

Well pretty standard win by the Kiwi's. I don't think anyone expected Australia to win that game, hopefully they beat france as they are the best team going around

That was a stressful game to watch, glad they got it done in the end.

We couldn't kick the ball at all and the French were tough.

Wish I was back home for all of it...ah well

There seems to be a massive party everywhere at the moment, im in London (UK) and last night was crazy.

Yep, some friends and I stayed up till 2am to watch it ( we golfed on a friends simulator till kick off to pass the time )

Canadians seem to love rugby, which is good.

i wish the game had more tries though.. i had a friend over (the replay in the US was on at noon), who had never seen a rugby game.  he had a great time, but more tries would've made it more exciting.

      Day 105: mirror work today. Focused on not looping my hands at the top of the swing. Straight down.

      Still working on the backswing a bit. Hand still gets away from the body, out towards the ball, and at A2 the club wants to roll over and get flat at A3. It's just very difficult to shallow from that position like I want. Which makes my downswing work impossible.  Backswing I have been playing around with the left leg straightening to start the backswing. It's like, a slight shove of the hips right with the left leg. Then just keep the flex in the right knee as I turn into it. I kind of like it. I never had a good swing trigger. It helps keep my left knee extended.  Yea, definitely feeling the hand path is traveling down the feet line, and straight up. A little bit of wrist rotation, and a lot more hinge sooner in the right wrist and elbow. I am trying to get the feeling that the arm hinging up then is the cause for the right shoulder to retract to finish the backswing. Club feels much more vertical at A3. I am trying to have my wrist fully hinged by then.  Feel the club and arms stop at A3.5 (my A4). If my arm collapses late, then I turn into that and I am pretty much screwed. The club and arms kind of have a floaty feeling, where they are just suspended in air for a bit, then drop.  Downswing I have been trying to think of a good visual for this mentally. I like the idea of my hands taking a wide arc to my right pocket, or I am taking the back of the hosel and trying to hit the ground behind my right foot.    Left knee stuff, just sooner.

      Day 2 (10 Mar 26) - Worked on weight shift feel using slap stick drill (hands about 6” apart - coming back weight on trail foot - down - thru weight on lead foot….moved it to hitting chips w/9i playing what I call “leap frog” - hit 1st about 10yds, the next a couple past the 1st, for about 6 balls total.  Love it as the lies change, the distances vary making each swing slightly different.
