Tonight is the premiere.     Finally brought back the boys vs girls theme (sausage fest last time wasn't nearly as entertaining as the previous co-ed ones) - strangely looking forward to it (again) ...

Me too, though I filled the void from Indian Wells by watching online some of the older Big Breaks I'd missed.

Murph, the Irish guy, was a guest on one of the original Playing Lessons With the Pros shows, with Rocco Mediate as the pro. He said once during the show that back home (Ireland) you have to keep the ball down (out of the wind) to play, and over here (America) you have to get the ball up. It was a tough change for him to be making.

Indian Wells was actually the first season of the series I watched, and was instantly hooked. Looking forward to sitting down with a nip of the scotch and becoming engrossed in it once again.

I've actually kept up with the last few, but I liked the personalities they had on Indian Wells in particular. An all-Canadian final was interesting for me as well

I've been following most of the seasons. I usually find that there are at least 1 or 2 competitors that I want to cheer for. On Indian Wells, it just so happened that the 2 Canadians I was rooting for made it to the finals! Alright, I was rooting for Kent, but I'm happy David won anyways

I'm rooting for Mallory .      Not sure how she manages an inside out swing with her attributes ... but it'll be fun to watch.     I think everybody was rooting for that GQ guy to get booted off in the challenge ... oh well, always need a villian to keep it interesting.

Pretty sure that Bennet fully intended on throwing those competitions to pit himself against who he felt was weakest on his team. It might sound crazy, but if you really take a look at it, it's not a bad strategy. I still hope the pretty boy goes home soon though.

I don't know about that, I think he put himself in position to be the hero and choked.  He might be cocky, but only a fool puts himself at risk when he could simply win the challenge and go watch someone else fight to stay on the show.  If the captain didn't have to compete I'd agree with you, but I just think he choked.

I fully understand where you are coming from on this...maybe I was just letting my alter ego "Mr. Conspiracy Theory" come out...lol. It seems he has a weird little move at the top before starting his down swing...could have been the scotch I was drinking that caused me to see that though.

When they showed all the players at the start of that show, and got to Mallrory, I said to my wife, "She'll be the favorite at the golf forum I'm on. Guess why."

Since Mallory and I are from the same city, I think I'm obligated to root for her to win.

Looks like the talent is better this season than it was the last. Hopefully that's the case. I get tired of watching the competition and wonder just how the actual hell they got on the show.

    • Day 33 (13 Dec 25) - Worked on weight shift and resetting the left heel during downswing (after listening to a discussion on Golf School this morning on PGA Tour Radio).  It centered on how Jack Nicklaus lifted his lead heel and how long driver champs do as well.  Taking cues from that discussion, worked an exaggerated feel of the left heel working doing some swing drill in the backyard using the 7i.  Wrapped up the session by hitting a few low bump and run shots in the backyard - keeping the process slow and exaggerated.
    • Day 123 12-13 Rotation and getting to lead side work. Recorded face on. Hit a few foam balls but did plenty of rehearsals today.

    • It may not have been block practice, though, is one of the main points here. You may have been serving and from the same place, but you were likely trying to do slightly different things. It seems that would only be blocked practice if you were trying to hit the same exact ball hit to you to the same exact place in the far court. I'm not sure that's as random as if the ball that you're given to hit is at different places, too, but again…
