If you do not mind used Goodwill will suprise you, found a like new dryfit nike shirt for $4 there this winter, not to proud to wear used (had two older brother, can we say hand me downs). If you hit the golf shows you can find apparel usually at discount, mostly overruns of different golf courses.

Im leary of ebay unless its name brand, ive seen the $12 dryfit style no brands and they do not look very high quality.

In the Bag:

 X Driver, 3w & 5w

 Ironwood 4 hybrids

Putter: BigT special

GOODWILL!!! it's a hidden gem. i find a lot of lightly worn and like new brand name golf polos at my local goodwill. sometimes i even find a couple club/tournament polos as well from the area.

another place i buy golf clothes from are Ross, Marshalls, TJ Maxx, and Gordmans. polos, shorts, golf pants all range from as cheap as $12-$40. I recently bought a full Nike golf rain suit from TJ Maxx for $25! and every pair of golf pants (Nike and Tiger Woods brand) i have bought from Ross or Marshalls, with the most exspensive ones being $35 (MSRP was $60+). so check these stores out frequently because they get new shipments in every couple weeks etc.

Kohl's for me.  With sales (never buy anything full price at Kohl's), discount cards and the occasional rewards $ off I can go crazy there.  Nice technical type wear - shirts in the $20 - $25 range, shorts about the same.  As a matter of fact I've got to stop going there - have way too many shirts and shorts now.

This is an old post but I didn't want to start a new one. I was at Ross today and was blown away at how much name brand golf apparel they had under 20 dollars. They had a huge selection of shirts and pants. I never thought I would buy PGA Motionflux pants until I found them for 19.99. I just couldn't pass it up. If anyone is looking for new golf apparel I highly suggest stores like Ross and TJ Maxx.

Yup. I have a lot of golf clothes courtesy of Ross. Nike, Greg Norman, PGA Tour, Izod, etc. all for usually $14-25. Got a new Nike Golf glove on Sunday there for 3.99

I didn't even think to look for gloves there. Next time I am there, going to look for that.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ What he said! I started really shopping at Kohl's last year. My Mom went there almost exclusively before she died, and she was a pretty savvy shopper. I found moisture wicking clothing at phenomenal prices! Also, don't ignore Goodwill. I donate there, why not shop there.

Frankly, As hot as it was, I don't think I would have survived last Summer without the clothing I found! One small tip. If you're going to wear moisture wicking shorts, make sure you ditch the cotton and get moisture wicking undies as well. If you don't, you still wind up with a case of "swamp ass"! Ask me how I know! I found some Hanes brand at K Mart on sale. 4 pair for 11 or 12 bucks on sale! Sure beats Under Armor at 2 pair for $28!

  • iacas changed the title to Good site for cheap hats/shirts?

In Canada, the place for discount clothing is Value Village, which is a donation type place similar apparently to Goodwill.  Lots of clothing, high quality/ low price.  I recommend it.  Giant Tiger which is a discount everything store is a place to browse to see if they have anything interesting.  Other than the shirts I buy from my pro shop with the club logo on them, I wear Nike and Under Armor and they were under $10.00 each.  Just have to be there at the right time. Wind shirts and pants and rain clothing as well.
