So I was just thinking of some good golf "Would you rather's?" Here's a couple.........

Would you rather play Augusta National or Pine Valley?

Would you rather play everyday at the nicest course in your state, or play Augusta for a week?

Would you rather be stuck playing with your sucky wife at golf for ever, or that guy you hate on the course who's got the same handicap?

Would you rather be a pro having to play Big Bertha's or a 25 handicapper playing MP 33's?

Would you rather have a less than fun time but play your best or have a great time but play crappy?

Answer and post your own!

1. Augusta 2. Best course in state, because I'm already playing Augusta in #1 :-P 3. Not married, but I'd choose the first option. 4. Pro 5. Play poor, have a good time.

1: I guess Augusta, but I'd have to bring my dad and grandfather with me.

2: I have Bethpage Black, Shinnecock, LI National, Montauk Downs, Winged Foot, Fishers Island, Oak Hill, etc. Augusta is nice but I'd rather play at all of those courses once over ANGC 7 times and I'd certainly not take a week of golf over a round a day. Augusta to me is great only because of the Masters. It'd be cool to do all the traditional Augusta checklist, but it would get old fast.

3: Not married, but I'd pick a rival. Not a guy I hate, but one who motivates me and actually works on his game unlike the numerous sucky dudes who never get better. With a worthy opponent you can compete in match play, which is way more fun than stroke play with a handicap.

4: Would I rather be paid millions to play GI irons or have to pay to hit irons I can't handle? I guess I'd reluctantly take the millions of dollars! At least with the Berthas you'd feel the pure strike every time; it doesn't matter if it's a forged blade or a GI cast head, that feeling is still amazing. The MP33s would be great if you could improve and eventually learn to pure them, but it sounds like you're saying you'd be doomed to 25 handicap forever. There are too many perks to being a pro and you overstate the importance of the clubs.

5: When I'm playing poorly I get too damn frustrated to have a good time, and playing well is what defines a good day of golf for me. I guess I'd rather have a fun time but it depends how crappy you define crappy to be.

My well's run dry. How about, play golf for 500,000 a year, or sit in an office for 700,000 a year.

Dollars? Not even close. Golf for $500,000. I have no idea why anyone would ever pay me that to play golf though, it would be wholly underwhelming to watch.

Golf for sure, as long as the 500,000 includes range, green fees, and a world class instructor :D.

Jk, but I'm in the office most of the time, and being paid to play golf would be cool, although I wouldn't know who would ever pay me to do that :).

I'd play golf for $100,000 a year instead of sit in an office for $700,000 a year.

I'll take the office job.  Most guys making that kind of money in big offices golf almost daily anyway.

I'd have to take golf, how about Paula once, or Gulbis twice?

1. Augusta

2. Augusta 7 days.....driving to the the nicest course in my state would get tiresome, plus I live in a resort area and my home course is very nice in its own right

3. I would have to say that would be what hell would be like

4. Berthas

5. Play happily as long as I didn't know I was never going to get better

6. 500k and play

7. Wreck Gulbis twice or 3 some ftw
