Help identifying old pings

They look like Ping Karsten 3's.

Edit:  Actually they could be Karsten I, II, or III's.  Can't really see up close enough.

Driver:  Callaway Diablo Octane 9.5*

Thanks for the reply. I can pick them up for 40$ but I don't know if I should just save up for something newer...I hit the i15 7 iron the other day at the range and absolutely loved it, just don't have the scratch to buy a set like that right now

If they are Ping Karsten's then they are a collector's item.  $40 is a really good price.  Also if they are the 3's they came out in the mid 1970's.

I agree with any of the Karsten series as fair value for 40.00 and would probably consider them myself if red or black dot. Keep in mind that an older set like this will usually require new grips and may not be the best lie angle or shaft choice for your stature and swing. As a Ping fan I have bought and played with Karstens but for a main set of gamers would not want anything older than Eye 2.

Your data says righty, but aren't those left-handed clubs?  That would seem like a really steep learning curve.

      Went up to Erie for a lesson. I still need to work on how I shift my weight into my right leg and turn into the right leg. I extend it too much and externally rotate it too much. That all causes me to over rotate the hips and cause weight shift issues in the downswing. I need to feel like my right leg gains flex (it doesn’t), and my knee cap faces forward. The right hip sinks back and right. I need a need a ton more internal rotation. I still have some right elbow issues in the backswing. The path is better, but too much right elbow bend. I need to maintain width in the right elbow and let my right shoulder retract more, let’s say at A3, which helps keep that right arm extended.

      Day 130 12-20 Today was just swinging what i had and go from there. Did focus on getting to lead side. Recorded swings for lesson  and hit real balls.
