If you could only have one class of clubs from a premium maker, and all your other clubs made by a wal-mart knockoff brand, which would you opt for? Why?

For me, I would definitely take the premium/OEM driver/woods. I really dislike the look of most knockoff drivers and woods, but if I had to I think I could get by with WalMart hybrids, irons, wedges, and putter. Not saying I'd like to do any of that, but gun to my head I'd take the driver.

In my bag:

Driver: Titleist TSi3 | 15º 3-Wood: Ping G410 | 17º 2-Hybrid: Ping G410 | 19º 3-Iron: TaylorMade GAPR Lo |4-PW Irons: Nike VR Pro Combo | 54º SW, 60º LW: Titleist Vokey SM8 | Putter: Odyssey Toulon Las Vegas H7

Gotta go with Irons.  I think the shaft makes a driver and I have played with junky wedges and done just fine.  Obviously there is a difference in feel between a great putter and a knock off.  But I think I could get used to it before junky irons.

Driver/woods.  The knockoffs are so bad its not even funny.

I would say irons. I don't play hybrids, and I don't really like them but there is no better feeling that hitting a great iron shot. I just love the response of my irons and I just couldn't play irons that have a bad feel to them.

I'll go with driver/woods.  I think there is a lot more technology in those clubs and lots more to be lost by playing a low-end brand.

Irons...they have to look like golf clubs and perform to get it close to the hole to tap it in with my Powerbuilt putter.
