OK, I've resisted this thread long enough. There's been a Hammer in our pro shop for all of 2009 with an asking price of $85. No takers. Enough said. The only Jack Ham I'll ever purchase anything from has one "m" in his name. Maybe a game worn jersey??

All Kidding aside....

The world is supposed to come to an end in 2012, according to the ancient Myan calendar, and a movie. The HAMMER is our only hope....soon their will be an executive order from Obama that all golfers below an 8 handicap will be forced to own a Hammer driver...with the mysterious super metal....ZOLEX. The reason...only one.....to use the Hammer .....POOOOOOWWWWWW!!!! to knock those meteors back into space and save all mankind!!

Have you ever hit one? I did once, just to see if it was a POS or legit. Let me tell you, it's nowhere near the quality than any name brand driver I have ever owned. It fell about 40 yards or more short than my average drive with my gimmick driver. And yes, I hit it solid.

The guy who owned it only played 9 holes with it. He hated it. So, I had to ask......."How did that club make its way into your bag?". " My wife gave it to me for my Birth day". He felt bad that he had to go tell his wife he will never play with it again. But yes, the infomercial is priceless!!!! The Jet boost kills me!

The entire infomercial is funny, but my favorite part is when the doctor talks about choking up on a baseball bat, the actor that is dressed up as a baseball player has the most confused look on his face, kind of like "I thought this was a commercial for The Hammer?"... The whole thing is so bad it's genius... Almost like a SNL skit

Hit the nail on the head, I think I have watched the damn infomercial at least 10 times, get a chuckle everytime. It's sooo bad it's good. I agree...non golfers think this is the greatest gift ever!

And yes, I have hit one. Some old feller at the driving range had one and asked me to hit it. It might be the same as the Great Big Bertha back in the day. Bad thing is it took 45 minutes to wash the Zolex off my hands.

      That was a good watch. When I started working on pelvis in the backswing. I thought, this sounds contradictory to those leg straightening threads on the site. Erik has already done a correction. Then the last lesson we went more down the route of feeling the right knee gains flex. It doesn’t, but the feeling keeps my knee position in a good range. Also, I just realized how much extra work my right hip needed to do to stabilize the body with the proper weight shift. Those glute and hip stabilizers got worked. 🤣 I wish this evolution in the golf instruction happened 20 years ago! 😭

      The first issue Erik spoke about is something we worked on for my swing during both GEARS sessions. GEARS was showing my pelvis center moving towards the ball during the back swing. I wasn’t the 4” guy though! This forced me to correct on the downswing to give myself space. My hip rotation was to high as well. We corrected it by first getting the weight off my heels in my stance and getting my posture correct. Then the feel was shifting back into my right hip at a 45 degree angle. This kept my pelvis center from moving towards the ball at the start of the backswing. I also didn’t sway back as much as I felt I did because of the angle I was shifting. Feel Ain’t Real. The cool thing about GEARS is as you work on something you can see the exact (Real) change happening. On video, it is much harder to spot this issue because of the 2D nature of filming. But I know what to look for now. Sadly, I was hurt all last year and most of this year so I really haven’t been able to work on it much. I did do a lot of backswing work though.
