Well with all the bickering going on in the Browns thread I figured I would start a fresh one up where everyone can show their allegiance and tell us a little about their fan-hood or team.

I have been a Redskins fan for life, and up until i moved out here i would go to almost every home game. i look forward to this year to see how RGIII adapts to the NFL, although i'm not setting the bar too high. the record doesn't mean that much right now, but progress does. i would be dissapointed if we don't have a top 10 defense this year though and adding that to what will be a strong running game could surprise some people.

i figure between 6-10 and 10-6, but i'll go with 8-8 as my guess, with RGIII breaking almost every Redskins rookie passing record, but not close to Cam Newton numbers.

i'd guess:

3000yds 20 tds 14 ints 55-60% comp and 5 rushing tds

 G25 Driver (10.5* Stiff Flex)

 G20 3 Wood (15* Stiff Flex)

 i15 3 Hybrid (20* Stiff Flex)

 i20 Hybrid (23* Stiff Flex)

 JPX 800 (5-AW)

 T11 54* (9* Bounce) and 58* (10* Bounce) w/DG Spinner Shafts

Ravens fan here.  Flacco needs to step up this year.  He says he's the best QB in the league, he needs to prove it.  I think this is our last year to make a run at the title and then we'll need to reload.  Ray and Ed are old and probably already done.  Too bad Suggs is such a moron and tore his achilles in a pick game of basketball.  Still hopeful.

The Super Bowl Champion NY Giants. Of course this team generally does not do well when expectations are high, but with a weak NFC East, we have a shot at breaking that trend.

Born and bred a Packer's fan.  Lived near GB while I was young and have followed ever since.  Parents were at the Ice Bowl and my Grandfather had the team picture posted every year on his bedroom wall.  Passed it onto my daughters who are not only sports followers but also very knowledgeable about the game.

Born and raised a Giants fan.  An obsessive one.  But I disagree about the weak NFC East.  I think it is as strong as any division in the league.  And our upcoming out of division schedule is a beast.  Ironically we have the toughest upcoming schedule and our vanquished foes from New England have one of the easiest.  But that is OK, we'll be battle-hardened when the playoffs come.  And we came out strong after the 2007 championship until a certain WR who will remain nameless ruined the season by shooting himself.

Do you participate in any NY Giants discussion board?  I do a couple of them.

But then again, what the hell do I know?

My personal feelings are that Philly and Dallas are overrated and Washington will never be good while Snyder owns the team. Who has a QB in the division (maybe in the whole league) that compares with Eli? Dont worry about the super bowl losers - brady is dropping every year. A few more hits and he will really be pouting on the field.

I really dont do too many other message boards - facebook seems to make a lot of them useless to me.

Obviously a great playoff team, but I think Eli is a flip of the coin--could be 12-4 and win the division or he could throw 25 picks be 8-8 and miss the playoffs.

toughest division in football:

and the redskins smoked you twice last year, once when you had everything in the world to play for. and the dan snyder stuff shows you're not paying attention in ashburn, but don't worry plenty of paid talking heads keep rolling off the same drivel completely ignoring that shanny/allen have made every move since they walked through the door.

and eli has never gotten over his "PLAXICO!!!!!!!!!!!!" throw. you know the one. he closes his eyes chucks the ball up and spins around to cower before he gets hit. i just imagine he yells plaxico everytime he does it.

and since your coach got an extension i fully expect your team to lay down and miss the playoffs until he is under real threat of getting fired.

(he had a great season last year, but that won't stop the smack talk)

You're right. The second most passing yards by a QB in a season ever, but he's slipping! I'll take my chances. Go Cowboys!  Expectations are high this year (just like every year).  I think the east will be competitive this year as I expect the Eagles to have a good season as well.

OK, now we know that washington fan is as delusional as boston fan, but that's ok - at least you are loyal. Just remember that the skins are the new cardinals of the division.

Passing stats are weak. I hear the same thing from lions fans - it means you have no running game and no defense - you only throw for that many yards when you need to. But I do enjoy the sight of brady crying after being tossed around like a rag doll.

Romo. He gets a lot of shit because his team doesn't do as well as it should, but in terms of QB talent, Romo is there with Eli.

[queue the team accomplishment stats to prove how good Eli is]

    • Day 105: mirror work today. Focused on not looping my hands at the top of the swing. Straight down.
    • Still working on the backswing a bit. Hand still gets away from the body, out towards the ball, and at A2 the club wants to roll over and get flat at A3. It's just very difficult to shallow from that position like I want. Which makes my downswing work impossible.  Backswing I have been playing around with the left leg straightening to start the backswing. It's like, a slight shove of the hips right with the left leg. Then just keep the flex in the right knee as I turn into it. I kind of like it. I never had a good swing trigger. It helps keep my left knee extended.  Yea, definitely feeling the hand path is traveling down the feet line, and straight up. A little bit of wrist rotation, and a lot more hinge sooner in the right wrist and elbow. I am trying to get the feeling that the arm hinging up then is the cause for the right shoulder to retract to finish the backswing. Club feels much more vertical at A3. I am trying to have my wrist fully hinged by then.  Feel the club and arms stop at A3.5 (my A4). If my arm collapses late, then I turn into that and I am pretty much screwed. The club and arms kind of have a floaty feeling, where they are just suspended in air for a bit, then drop.  Downswing I have been trying to think of a good visual for this mentally. I like the idea of my hands taking a wide arc to my right pocket, or I am taking the back of the hosel and trying to hit the ground behind my right foot.    Left knee stuff, just sooner.
    • Day 78 - 2026-03-10 Backswing work at the net with foam balls, a few real ball swings.
    • Day 525 - 2026-03-10 Got some work in before lessons today (was going to play after but it decided to POUR). Then like three minutes in later on.
    • Day 2 (10 Mar 26) - Worked on weight shift feel using slap stick drill (hands about 6” apart - coming back weight on trail foot - down - thru weight on lead foot….moved it to hitting chips w/9i playing what I call “leap frog” - hit 1st about 10yds, the next a couple past the 1st, for about 6 balls total.  Love it as the lies change, the distances vary making each swing slightly different.
