Based on what? blind loyalty? The only reason that either of these teams will come close to .500 is the fact that the redskins are in the division.

S-W-E-P-T by Rex Grossman.

yeah the giants are juggernauts who can't be stopped

since 2003:

4 season over .500

4 seasons at/under .500

the homerism is strong with you, but your team is far from dominant.

1 pile of shit + 1 pile of shit != a field of daisies. Or a competent football team.

since 2007:

.888 post season winning %, 2 rings.

i know your head is stuck in the regular season bc the redskins season is typically over by october, but trust me...there is a whole great big world of football that exists beyond week 17...ya know, when winning matters the most, and seasons/careers are defined.

If your fellow fan thinks that Dallas and Philly are long shots to win the division then he's delusional. That's what I was pointing out, again obviously you guys think that a superbowl win means you're automatically the best team for 2012.

I truly hope not but the possibility is defly there. I like Tebow but I was never in favor of bringing him on board, the Jets had alot of other needs that should've been filled. He defly adds another dimension to an offense that sorely needed it. I just hope it all works out.

Green Bay Packers.  I grew up about 30 miles south of Madison, WI and lived there until about 5 months ago.  The Packers are the greatest franchise in the NFL: stories history, one of the oldest franchises in the game, great fanbase and there is nothing that rivals the atmosphere of a Packer game.

It doesn't suck to have these guys on your team. The Broncos will kick some major booty this year.

Thanks John, Pat, and Payton!

Still pissed at Irsay for letting him go!

I'm a Rams fan, but I love Manning. I have a tendency of becoming a fan of the best.

Dunno what happened with the Rams thing... we suck right now.

    • Hello Golfing Buddies, It has been awhile since I posted but I am the Retired Old Man that asked for advice because I suffered two "T.I.A.'s about switching from playing right handed to playing left handed.  I purchased a Callaway Edge Left handed golf clubs. I changed the grips to oversize grips.  Well, two weeks ago and still at 79 years old, I shot a 44 and 47 on a small course in my hometown.  I am currently changing my shafts from regular flex to Senior flex.  So, you can see' it can be done! So, you other old timers; get with the program! Blessings to all of you. Retired Old Man (Terry Warner)

    • Probably since the golfer has to swing the club back and up. The hands have to move back and up. You can feel them go back and up just by turning the shoulders and bending the right arm, because it brings your hands towards your right shoulder.  The difference is if you maintain width or not. Less width means a shorter feeling swing path so the more you need to lift the arms. Being as someone who gets the right arm bend at 110+ degrees, it's 100% a timing issue. I am use to like a 1.5+ second backswing. It probably should be like 1 second at most. Half a second or more will feel like an eternity. I have had swings where I keep my right arm straighter and I am still trying to time the downswing based on the old tempo.  Ideally, for me, it is probably going to be a much quicker and shorter (in duration) backswing, while keeping the right elbow straighter. Which also means more hinging to get swing length without over swinging.

    • I'm currently recuperating from surgery, so no golf, but have been thinking about this quite a bit. This and the don't overbend the right arm thing. It's hard for me to even pose the position, so I'm not 100% sure, but I feel like it's impossible to have the right humerus along the shirt seam and not overbend your right arm, unless your hands are down near your hips. If the left arm is up at or above the shoulder plane and your right arm is bent less than 90 degrees, then your right humerus has to raise or your hands will get pulled apart. Your left hand can't reach your right hand unless either the right upper arm is up or the right arm is overbent. Is that right? If it is, then focusing on not overbending the right arm would force you to raise the humerus. And actually thinking further on it, if you do overbend your right arm, then you're basically forcing your upper arm down or forcing your left arm to bend. Since (for me at least) bending the left arm too much is not something I think I need to worry about, it means that the bend in the trail arm is really the driving force behind what happens to the right humerus.
