For me it is the 54 degree Titleist Vokey I found in the water hazard a year ago. It's money. I can hit it farther than 100 yards but can dial it back a bit. My only beef is the wedge seems like it's made for someone about 4 inches shorter than my six feet stature so I feel like I'm hunching over a bit too much and have a tendency to pull my ball a little left on full swings. But I try and use it for most shots 110 and in where I don't have to flop it a lot. Have a 60 degree lw that gives me fits when I try to do anything other than a full swing flop shot and my sw at 55 degrees and with bounce made for the fluffy stuff seems to not be as reliable.

Lay sod over my ball with my 50° and then cuss.

That's what I do when play my 55 sw

A full 56* wedge but then I am almost 70 years old.  Don't hit it nearly as far as I used to.

If you're smacking a 56 degree sw a 100 at 70 I'd say you are doing just fine!  Hope I can say the same at 60

These threads have a way of creeping into my head when playing. Last night I get to my ball and grab my laser for third shot prep on a par 5. Dang it 94 yards out, what is my shot.

Well let's see stacked bunkers between me and green, big and long meant to discourage getting there in two. Odd angle because my second missed left doesn't look good for anything low it's going to require a full shot but it's windy blowing across the line of flight.

Thinking the wind might take something off it I laser front of green, 85 yds to front pin on front 3rd under a ridge, goal is hit it 88-90 and leave it under the hole. So I kill a 58 and it sails very high but gets pushed a bit left by the wind and it's about 5 yards over leaving me a downhill breaking putt. Not  bad because greens are punched and sandy. Easy two putt par.

Later I laid up on a 566 yard par 5 with 6i after hitting a decent drive. Lasered 134 to the 150 marker and wanted to get it in the 100 ish range to play the third shot. I roll up and get the laser out boom again 94 yards. It starts over.

I normally get out the pitching wedge, top it about 60 yards, and then putt from the remaining 40. Honestly, I'm not joking

Go between GW to 9 iron depended more on technique than what club I use  play 1/2 to 3/4 swing.  Don't load up on my right leg/side. Keep weight centered on 100-125 yards.

On the 75-100 yards try to shift weight slightly more on the left heel and stay there

    • Day  3 (4 May 24) - Easy pitch day with 9i in the backyard.  Worked on staying smooth thru impact, keeping shots to 20yds or less.
    • From what I’ve read, it was in the manufacturing process and how the covers were nicking pretty easy.  He has had to resource his factory as the one used earlier is now a TM owned facility.  Initial reports seem to indicate the redesign is going to be a winner…
    • Day 129: 5/4/24 Stack training but could not certify my warmup speed. Dealing with a pulled neck muscle. Chips and pitches at a local course for about 15 minutes.
    • Typically less than 50. I find this can be affected by the "CART" signs on a given course. I don't like taking my rangefinder out of the cart and carrying it around to the green. I am very fearful I will leave it somewhere.
    • First ever holed out greenside bunker shot! It's crazy it took this long to finally get one during a round, but the cold streak is officially over. Hole 6 on the Palmer Course at PGAN. I hit my driver like 225 into a really stiff wind, then worm burned a hybrid into the bunker. I was about I dunno, 40-45 feet away. Birdie! Let's go! The red Xs the approximate location of each shot.  Really fun!!
