Taking the above advice may lead to destruction of your golf game. Laughing at it may reduce stress.

OK!   I just enjoy reading though.  So many different opinions.   This site is a valuable location for help in selecting new irons.

As a relative noob to the forum (and honestly, golf in general) I'm firmly in the "keep your mouth shut and just learn" camp right about now :) It's tough to come up with questions because the weather here in the Northeast just has me practicing putting in the living room and swinging in front of a mirror when I can. And I'm horrified with what I see.

So for now, I'm happy to lurk, chime in lightly when I can, and mostly hang out in the Swing thread, reading all the great advice there and hoping I can pull some of it off in another few months when I can get back out there.

That's not how it works round here Russtopher. Just grab a handfull of crap and throw it at anyone.

???

I'd rather not have people just "grab a handful of crap and throw it at anyone." It's cool if he wants to lurk around the forum, picking up info and chiming in occasionally. That's actually how I got my start here. I got some great info and wanted more and that led me to want to contribute more to the discussions and the community here in general.

I thumbs'd up your OP.... and then read this one. Let's not make too many blanket statements now

Same here ... the OP was referring to "guests."  I thought he was urging those who haven't even signed up to join the discussions ... not trying to encourage those who have signed up to poop all over the site.

Come on, Logman.  Or we're gonna have to "unlike" your thread. ;)
