You sound real confident with this club so why not play your tee shots so that you are required distance out from the green? Back on track. Any shot that has that crisp sound and that feel as it leaves the club face that tells you it is well struck dead on target and got back spin. Don't I hate this game cause that is the darn shot that keeps bringing me back!!

Well the typical par 4 is what like 350-375 yards. That means i'd hit 175 of the tee so i can lay up for it. I would much rather hit driver and be under 100 yards to the green. I mean i am an 18 handicap. Shorter shots are always better.

Although I started this thread with the 7i in mind, the gap wedge runs a close second lately. Took one out of the rough from a hair over 100 yards last night, stopped about 3 feet from the pin, left me an easy putt to save par. Great club.
