Stage 1 complete. Now I'll let it cool for an hour or so and then reheat it on the rack. Cell phone pics don't really do it justice. Suffice to say, it looks magnificent in real life.

What's stage 2? Their's a stage 2 right? Like more BACON!!!!

I wonder how that would be stuffed with Mac and Cheese!!!

On a side note, how did it turn out?

As for my dinner tonight. I get a bit crazy with my own version of crazy burgers.

Two 1/4 patty burgers pan friend, in between toasted sesame seed bagel, with melted mozzarella cheese, bacon and raspberry preserves!! Lets just say that it was AWESOME!!!

I also made a side of roasted brussel sprouts topped with a orange mustard vinaigrette.

I just got a Weber smoker. Probably not big enough though…

I think we should have a Ryder Cup type event in SoCal next fall. We can do it then. :-)

I never been to SoCal before, a golf outing is a good reason :whistle:

Homemade pizza night at Ernest's On the left we have a tomato base with an excellent Italian black truffle salami, red peppers poached in white vermouth, Spanish onion, kalamata olives and fruilano cheese. On the right a base of slow confit balsamic onions (no tomato sauce), crisp bacon, fruilano cheese and chopped arugula added in the last 10 minutes. To die for!
