I don't play in tournaments, I'm not in a league, so there's really no point in establishing a handicap. My listed one is just based on some of my rounds tossed into a calculator.

Eventually I'd like to enter tournaments, but tourneys where there's no handicap.

Since we're at 13 and we'll want to get to 16 I may have Bob Koch or one of his kids that we teach play with us or something.

Bummer to the team that gets Slice of Life. ;)

geeze how are you going to feel about the team that gets me and my worse HC? I have to recheck myscorecard but I think it was like 24 or something horrible like that! Of course that's probably higher than it should be because I don't have the scores I shot on other courses that were better. I'm going to try to find those before I put my HC in for this.

The Committee will rule at the appropriate time.

FWIW the official name of the tournament is "The Sand Trap Not Really Golf and Staff is Ineligible Tournament of Champions (and Jamieson)". That should cover any "odd" committee rulings…

Current plans: if everyone can bring $50 (plus whatever you'll need to buy lunch and dinner and/or drinks on the course), that'll cover everything: clinic and quickie lessons, demo clubs to hit on the range, golf/cart.

It should easily be worth it, and Mike and I are looking forward to seeing you all there!

      We just completed our winter league (Jan 1 - April 30)  Our scoring was simple.  We used the 18 birdies app.  You get 1 point for every member of the league you beat head to head in an 18 hole round (no handicap).  You also get a point for completing the round.  Therefore 4 members play a round- winner of the round gets 4 points, runner-up gets 3, third gets 2, and last gets 1.  Points accumulate throughout the season.  You can play as many times as you want. Our winner accumulated 110 points while second was 102 and third was 97.  We had a total of 16 members in the league.  No issues whatsoever.  All about fun.
