I'm good (far from good, but you know what I mean) whenever. I thought I would have band practice, but the bass player can't go tomorrow. Going to the Reds game Sunday, so it's out.

So the new swing showed up on the course again today, for the most part. Most dropped shots were due to bad tee shots and missed putts. I also flew the green several times due to better contact causing for longer carries. I think it's time to invest in better wedges also. Found out that I can reliably hit my 2 hybrid off the tee, which is nice for those days where the driver just keeps mistreating me. May also look into getting a 4 wood....

Go hit the Callaway X2 Hot. Its so easy to hit. Its 17* and when I hit it good it goes just as far as my ping G15 3w which was 15. I like that the face is a little deeper as well.

My hybrid is 18*, I was thinking something 16-15 would be best, but I'll give that one a shot too. I am now a big fan of hitting a lot of different clubs to find which I hit best instead of just buying something I think I'll like.

On a side note:

I know I've made some changes in my swing because I can feel it in different muscles than before. I take this as a good sign that I'm swinging better more often than not.

Got 43 holes in today even with the super slow play the first time through. Took me most of the first nine to even get loose and was hitting a couple balls per hole just to kill time, no score for that 9. Back nine I played in 47. 2nd run through front 9 ate my lunch and gave me 51 strokes for my troubles. Back 9 I got back into the groove and shot 44. Last run through on front 9 ended after hole 7 because it was just too dark. Was 8 over through 7... with the way it says to figure the score for holes not played it put me at +11 and another 47. Depending on what I shoot for league thursday I may drop my index again....

Ordered my bio cell plus off ebay today.... Super high rated seller so I'm hoping it's copacetic because I got it for about 190. I feel bad because the guy that fitted me was super nice but he wanted 280 for it.... I'll probably go pay him the $30 for the fitting.

You have to be very careful about knockoffs on the internet.

The reason I pulled the trigger is the seller is covered by the ebay protection that says if I don't get what i paid for I get my money back. So if it turns out to be a knock off I get my money back.

Knockoffs are hard to tell sometimes. They are very good at replicating them aesthetically.

There has been one person say they got a fake club and the reply was for them to contact the manufacturer and verify the serial number..... Seems like if you had knock-offs you wouldn't want them to do that.

Did some recording tonight. Just a couple quick snapshots of the swing for you guys to tell me if I'm hitting the right checkpoints.

The club is parallel with the ground in the picture on the left which I think is where it's supposed to be. and I have inline left wrist on the right at impact.

*disclaimer I know the ball is a touch back in my stance here, but I've already torn the crap out of this stupid mat so my marks are a bit off now....*

If these checkpoints look good enough I'm probably going to do an upload to evolvr with this video, plus have to grab a dtl one to upload also.

      I know you guys were discussing this like a year ago. But, ironically I just had this discussion with my brother-in-law. We literally just did one of these. I'd always used the "Slow-Cook, Rest, and Sear" Method. But my bother-in-law was convinced the "5-Min/lb, 500 degree" method was the way. So, we gave it a go. I have to say it came out great.  I have a 25 year old, electric oven, GE brand... Not sure if that matters, but it came out great. ... Of course we stressed that nobody was to open the oven.   I don't make these all that often so, I'm not sure if I can fully recommend one method or the other, because without doing a Pepsi Challenge, I'd say both ways come out great. 👍😁👍
