I'm going to have to chime in here, my brother is claiming he actually works.  I did some calculations and if I didn't know any better, I would say you were on the TST payroll.

Posts per day since joining.

Golfingdad = 9.4 (Hard to calculate because in the time it took me to do this he had already made 4 more so maybe 9.5-9.6)

Iacas = 8.9

Beachcomber = 5.8

Mvmac = 3.7

Fourputt = 2.3

Tristanhilton = 2.0

I will have to join your SoCal group and maybe participate in an event next summer.  Hopefully we can get a NorCal group and do my brother's suggestion of having a Ryder Cup type of event versus you guys.

I'll wait for you guys to lock in a date before making a decision.  October is very busy for me so I may have to pass on this one regardless.  In Oct I will likely be going to Myrtle Beach, defending my Reno Championship the week prior, and HOPING that I will also be busy the week before that at the NCGA Associate Club Net Amateur Championship (but I have to qualify for that one Aug 3rd).

Is the next one not until the Spring?

jamo = 6615/((4*365)+(30*5)) = 4.109 If you guys do a Ryder Cup thing, there's a chance I could go if it's next summer. A lot would have to go right in my life, but it's possible.

Anyways, lets do dates!  Since it sounds like IE/Temecula is at least a strong contender for the next time around (makes sense considering it was the top vote getter for the summer and is central-ish) I think that we should consider no earlier than the end of September because summer is just barely winding down out there.  Since everybody seems to like Sundays, lets maybe vote on these options:

October 6

October 13

October 20

October 27

Any of those are fine by me... I'd like Drew to be able to come so I'd say keep it in October, plus the weather will be that much nicer. The 27th is my birthday, but really I can't think of a better way to spend my birthday than on the course.

No matter what day you guys choose, you know I'll be there.

We did this before. We called it the Newport Cup. So that's what it'll be called.
