Gotta say, this is a nice looking course.  But it definitely looks like there will be some lost balls with the tight fairways and lots of rocks on either side!

Anyway, see some of you at Denny's tomorrow.  In case I get there first, about how many are we expecting to show up?  I'll try and get a booth or something.

And that thing long and right of the green, which is not really in play unless you were to bomb a driver left of the green, is a big boulder. :) I was actually thinking this would be a good hole for another one of those "How would you play it" type threads.  I'll try and take a bunch of pictures Sunday, from the tee, the landing area, near the green, etc.  Everybody that was not there can come on here and tell us what they would have done and they we can all come back with some actual results.  What we chose to do, how it worked out, would we make the same choice next time, etc, etc.

Top a 3-wood. Re-tee. Hit a solid shot at the right edge of the green that you never find. Write down your ESL.

@Pakoh can't putt.  He was closest to the hole and the only one that didn't make birdie. :doh:

I'm sure our narrow defeat had nothing to do with me hitting from :tumble: most of the day.

      Day 44, June 17.  Today was some preliminary stretching, exploring what I'll want to set up as a regular routine (both while on vacation without clubs and when I'm back) (aside: this is part of an upcoming goal to stretch daily in a meaningful way, but I don't plan to count it as practice on days that I can meaningfully practice with a club)

      Having a rough week. Went to the Dr. because I was really weak and could hardly swing my driver.  I take Propranolol 20 mg tablets twice a day. Seems like the Propranolol was driving my pulse down (low 50's).  So we cut the dosage in half and I started taking my blood pressure. It was a little high but pulse came up.   Then yesterday I raised it to 15 mg tab by taking it 3 times a day. Blood pressure 127 / 77 Pulse 75.  Heading out tomorrow morning for 18 holes.    I have my driver set at 10.5* but seem to have my swing speed to low and I can't get the lift on the ball I need.  I have not played this week in hopes I will have the strength to raise my swing speed. I may have to raise my loft to 12* . (I will take my driver wrench) tomorrow. (This Parkinson's is a pain in the butt.)  Will give you a report when I get back.    Retired Old Man, Terry

      You still got to lift your arms. You basically just roll your wrist over in the 1st half of the backswing.
