A snow cover one. I actually had to scrape ice and snow off my windshield this morning. I played 9 holes Sunday morning and am supposed to play this Sunday. This is not right or fair. What happened to global warming?

I rent. Owning a car in NY is expensive. $500/month for parking.

Supply and demand. Demand is high so prices can be lower.

Actually higher demand = higher price.

The main reason gas is so much cheaper here is taxes - taxes on gas in France, for example, account for about 70% of what the French pay at the pump; in the U.S., between state and federal taxes, it's anywhere from 10 to 17%. And that isn't an unusual example. Germans tax the ever-living crap out of gas.

Good lord, I had a Pontiac 6000 LE with 312,000 on all the original parts (except the alternator), but I sold it before I found out how far it made it...

Nice mileage on the truck
